Customer Questions & Answers

does Moen finey single handle sprayer kitchen faucet come without side sprayer?

Asked by: Anonymous
No. However, the faucet can be installed without using the side sprayer. Don't install the sprayer hose to the diverter valve and leave the sprayer line unconnected under the sink.

Finley Single-Handle Standard Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer in Spot Resist Stainless is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 142.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from tall faucet is a game changer If you think that a tall kitchen faucet is a feature of newer kitchen sinks, think again. My old stainless sink has been transformed with the smart design of the Finley one-hand faucet with sprayer. Large pots are easily filled with water, and washing larger pans has become much easier and less messy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Issues with leaking underneath handle (Click on pic to see what I'm referring to) We have owned this faucet for less than a year and when we shut off the water, we will usually get one drip of water underneath handle and it accumulates over time. Also, as a previous reviewer mentioned, I'd like to echo his/her comments as well: "Also the handle bumped against the backsplash so we had to put the handle so it was in front, not the side. It works fine but make sure you know the clearance." We have the same issue but have lived with it. We didn't move it forward. Overall I've liked the faucet. Just aggravated with the dripping part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, But Could Be Better I finally decided to replace our old faucet with one that was a little taller, and I looked at a LOT of different faucets before I chose this one. What really drew me to this was the "spot free" finish (which really works - and we have HARD well water) and the ability to mount it with the handle forward instead of the pictured side mount. I always look at things with an engineer's eyes, so you can take this review with a grain of "geek" salt, but here are my thoughts: Pros: - Spot Free Finish - it works. - Tall spout: Nice for filling large pots and washing cutting boards; plus the sprayer is really strong. - Handle can be "front" mounted: This allows use of the hole to the right of the fixture for a soap dispenser AND it means that all the water from wet hands drips off the handle INTO the sink instead of behind it like top or side handles do. This alone is worth the price of admission. Cons: - Goofy plastic hose/diverter design forces pressure on the spout that can cause it to "turn on its own". There's not much friction in the spout position and the connector design makes it hard to get the hoses into a position that doesn't torque the spout. Think kinked sprayer hose to understand what I mean. Moen recommends using some clamps underneath the sink to direct the hoses into a better position, but it’s still not great. - The castings are pretty light duty. As long as the finish holds, this really isn't a big deal, but my old faucet was a beautiful solid brass casting that weighed about 10 lbs. and had a great feel when you moved the spout. Overall I like this faucet, and I've had really good experience with Moen customer service in the past. If I can get the spout to behave, I think I’ll have this faucet for a long time. FYI – 1) Moen has very recently changed the “throw” on the handle due to complaints about it hitting the backsplash. Instead of moving equal distances from vertical to adjust hot/cold, it now moves 90% one way & 10% the other. What this does mean, however, is that the handle is no longer left/right interchangeable – it is now designed to be right mounted (so that the handle moves forward for its long travel). 2) Before installing the sprayer, soak the hose in HOT water for a few minutes, then bend it back “against itself” until it hangs straight instead of coiled. This will eliminate most of the negative sprayer comments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moen excelled with a simple faucet Moen produced a simple faucet. I'm not using the sprayer so I have the insta-connect connected together under the sink in a "u". No drips whatsoever. I'm not partial to sprayers so I don't want it. The finish of the faucet is brushed stainless so it doesn't leave fingerprints or waterspots. The neck turns easily left or right, very smooth with no leaks or kinks. The handle can be placed left, right or centered. My handle is on the left and turns smooth but not loose. My hot is in the back and the cool is forward with infinate between temps however you can have the hot/cold in any position depending where you connect the hot/cold leads under the sink. It closes in any position without drips. Connections when installing are quick however you could probably use a third hand when tightening the faucet base down. I didn't but wish I did. Up down up down is no fun. The Home Depot specifications state it's with 1/2 inch connections, it is not. This is in error. It is 3/8 inch connections. I didn't want to return it to the store so I used 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapters. I didn't exchange it as we live 30 miles out of town and with the price of gas and the fact I wanted to install it before the Mrs woke up (works nights) it was an easy decision. And one I don't regret in the least. It works with no drips, drops, hassle free. Moen makes a good product and this faucet should last quite a long time. I'm happy I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet I really like this faucet. I love the finish and seems like a quality faucet. The faucet is easy to clean with the spot resist finish as well. We replaced a cheap Delta faucet with individual knobs for the hot and cold with this one. I really like the single lever much better than two individual knobs. If your hands are dirty from handling raw food, you can turn the faucet on using the back of your hand. Also, this is a great faucet to have if you have to wash large pots in a shallow dink. Installation was fairly easy as well. Overall seems like a good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to beat! I purchased this faucet with a little bit of concern based on reviews from previous purchasers who noted that they had difficulty with this design because the "handle hit the backsplash". One reviewer noted that he was able to figure out that he could move the handle to the front and avoid the problem. Fear not future buyers. There is no problem with this design, assuming, of course, that you don't install it backwards! This faucet is every bit as good as a similar Danze model for which I paid $550. Actually, I think it's better. The flow rate is superb. The lever action on the faucet is smooth as a mirror and the finish is just beautiful. Buy the matching soap dispenser and you'll be admiring your sink every time you walk by for years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product was easy to install and looks/works great! First off, I've had the sink installed for about two weeks now, so I can't provide any long term feedback. That being said, the installation was a breeze. It took my father and I a few hours to uninstall the previous faucet, and less than a half hour to install this faucet. It looks great, operates with the touch of a finger and, most important of all, I can fit a large water pot under it. The sprayer works as expected and has a comfortable grip and nice spraying angle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! After years of inferior faucets, I broke down and spend a few bucks for a decient model. We have Moen in our bathroom so I went with the same brand. Fairly easy to install, although beware the install manual, they jam way too much instruction into way too little space, it needs to be updated as to how to secure the nut under the main faucet as the screw driver in the hole is not the way to go with that plastic tool they provide. USE PLIERS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TOOL TO TIGHTEN INSTEAD. I had to learn that the hard way. Moen does have an updated manual on line, I suggest downloading that one. As for the faucet itself, smooth, nice finish and smooth operation.
