A very good looking and well functioning faucet which is easy to install. I particularly liked the washer/nut assembly used at the underside to fasten the faucet. Unlike many of the other faucets which a basin wrench is needed to tighten a large nut in a hard to reach area; this unit comes with a long socket tool that fits over a much smaller nut which is a very convenient way to tighten it. The washer has a notch for the hoses so it isn't necessary to fish them through it. Well thought out with a minimum of room required underneath the counter top for the installation hardware. If you have 1/2" IPS angle stop fittings, adapters are required, but not included.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LovinLife not pleased with Moen quality nor warranty
This faucet was purchased 01/04/2014 and was professionally installed by a licensed plumber. Today 01/082015 we woke to find the kitchen cabinet, counter tops and floors soaking wet. The faucet had developed a leak overnight at the on/off handle. I called Moen. The lady knew exactly what I was talking about and said the would send the replacement "kit" I needed to fix the issue. The kit is free of charge. However the kit would be arriving 01/20/2015. Who can go with a kitchen faucet that long? Not a choice in my household. I had to pay $20 for expedited shipping so the kit can arrive some time tomorrow or Monday. Moen should pay for expedited delivery to their customers. Besides the shipping fee, I also have to pay a plumber to come over and fix it once the kit arrives. Very poor quality for such an expensive faucet after only 1 year of use. I also hope that there is no permanent damage to the hardwood floors, cabinets or rest of my kitchen from water damage.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GRWh Leaked from the handle within a day of installation
We just bought this faucet at the end of January and had it installed by a service professional. I was very disappointed to find it leaking from the handle within a day of installation. For the amount of money this costs, the quality control at the factory should have caught this problem. I've contacted Moen and am waiting for a response. The parts are under warranty obviously but I will NOT be happy if I have to pay to have this faucet removed and then pay again to have the new faucet installed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by almightythor Extremely nice faucet, now I have to upgrade my sink
While I don't know enough about the internal components to rate this a good value, the quality is great. As far as a functional sink faucet it works but with a cost over $225, which is half of the touch model, you really need to like the design a lot. Personally I did. The soap dispenser stays clean and doesn't leak soap ever, and the spray pattern is very well designed with a large coverage area great for rinsing pots quickly or just washing hands. The control seems backwards to me, and people always turn on the hot water. You have to pull out and then down for cold; it seems the extra motion would be for the hot water. I plan to reverse the hot and cold feeds on my next chore day to alleviate the nuisance. You leave the stick up when not in use, not down, as pictured in the advertisement.
This is the nicest faucet I have ever owned personally. The satin nickel has a gorgeous polish, elegant curves, and options for single hole installations.
The cons from this purchase are:
1. The water inlets should be reversed IMO, to allow for easier access to cold water with one motion rather than two from the rest position. (easy fix, possibly even mislabeled at factory)
2. Water neck is so tall and doesn't reach very far away from fixture. This causes sinks with shallow tubs to splash water all over the fixture even under low pressure, causing you to wipe it down all the time because it's so pretty and the constant water splash leaves residue.
3. I need to buy a new sink now. I have a moen sink, and this moen faucet is so heavy duty that you can pull on the faucet and bow the sink. Either the sink isn't strong enough or the steel gauge isn't thick enough to prevent the flexing of the sink during normal usage. Not a big problem, but you can tell the faucet is oversized for the cheapo sink I apparently own.
4. The spray function of the pull-down faucet requires heavy pressure to stay active. If the water pressure drops the spray function drops, like its a gravity valve or something. I really prefer the wide spray when washing hands over the solid stream. The sprayer works so well rinsing things much faster with less water I wish when you activated it that it wouldn't auto-close when you turn the water down. Every time you turn the water off and back on the sprayer resets and goes back to the stream.
This being said if you have a thick gauge steel sink with a deeper than average tub this fixture will probably remain trouble free and low maintenance for a very long time.
If you want the model that looks exactly like the high end touch model for half the price, this is your faucet.

NORMALLY A PLUMBER WOULD BE REQUIRED TO INSTALL A QUALITY ITEM OF THIS NATURE, I TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THE DIRECTIONS AND COULD NOT
REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK MYSELF. FOLLOWING THE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS, MY NEW FAUCET WAS INSTALLED WITHIN THIRTY MINUTES.
I TURNED THE WATER ON, AND TO MY SURPRISE THERE WERE NO LEAKS. I AM JUST SO PLEASED WITH MY ACCOMPLISHMENT AND ESPECIALLY MY NEW FAUCET. LOOKS SO GREAT ON OUR NEW GRANITE COUNTER TOPS.

The Moen Haysfield faucet is great, BUT -- it LEAKED from the handle, just three months after purchase. So whatever price you pay, expect an EXTRA $150 in hidden costs -- to have a plumber come out again to fix the bad cartridge.
Moen's warranty provided a new cartridge, but does NOT cover the cost to have it installed. Not surprising, but it almost doubles the cost of the faucet, so you better love it. Luckily, other than than the leak, I do love it -- great design, features, and functionality.
After reporting the leak to Moen, I had to wait a few days for the replacement cartridge to arrive. And then once I got it, I called a plumber, but then had to wait a couple more days til he could come out. So in the meantime, I figured out how to fix the leak from a Moen Haysfield faucet handle. See my video on YouTube.
Ok it's not an ideal permanent solution, but it literally let me sleep through the night, without worrying that the leaking faucet will flood my kitchen counter, and ruin my new wood floor with a pool of water by morning.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Will Poor Workmanship on an expensive faucet
Bought this faucet back in 2013, looks nice and was the style we were looking for. Within the last week the handle started leaking when the faucet was turned off in the hot position. If you didn't remember to turn if off in the cold position you came back to a puddle of water, which then leak into the cabinet!!!!! We were ready to take it back to HD and swap it out for another one. Then we came across other reviews were others were having the exact same problem. No need to exchange this faucet for the same problem to happen again. Poor workmanship from Moen on an expensive faucet. Doesn't matter that their is a lifetime guarantee on the faucet, it doesn't take care of the damage caused by the leaking handle.

Bought and installed today, 11/24/2012. Hardest part was removing the old faucet. Installed in about 15 minutes after old faucet removed. No leaks, well made, quality product. I am impressed.
