I installed myself, the only challenge I had was getting the faucet perfectly centered. There are so many separate hoses (4 or 5) actually going through the sink hole that it was a bit of a challenge to keep the faucet from slightly shifting to one side when tightening. The push-on hose connectors at the control box were easy to connect, but somehow seem ill-conceived, but so far no problems.
The finish does hide water spots quite well. The pull out nozzle also works quite well, except occasionally the weight on the hose under the sink does get hung up on my dishwasher line so it doesn't retract the nozzle completely. Wasn't really practical for me to move the dishwasher line and it doesn't happen that often, so not a big deal.
The sensor operation is very cool. Quick hand wash or pot fill works very well. Yes, it is possible to trigger it accidentally. I've startled myself a few times but the good outweighs the bad. You simply have to remember to swivel the faucet out of your way if you need to work in the sink without the water coming on. If you have many reasons to reach over the faucet where your sink is (shelf, etc.) you'll probably find you'll be turning the water on a lot unexpectedly. It is fairly easy to turn each sensor on and off, but so far I have left both on for maximum effect and am learning to avoid accidental triggers.
If I were to say what needs to be improved:
The water pressure is a bit low, my old faucet had a sprayer that would really blast things clean, this one is more gentle, soaks or fills, but won't blast.
I wish the front sensor was angled down a bit. You really have to hold your hands right under the faucet, leaving it more likely water will splash onto the counter. I've had to learn to angle my hands slightly downwards to keep from splashing. Would've been better if I could have held my hands closer to the sink.

Loving this faucet. However, there is a bit of a learning-curve. We're all having fun with it and getting used to it's conveniences while occasionally feeling like we just got punked.
We do have some concerns about the water pressure variation between the auto-on and manual-on. We're used to having a heavy flow, so will look into that a bit more. Otherwise, we think it's the "cat's meow". Wouldn't want to go back to the old knob style again - that's for sure.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rosy29 Works awesome so far
After reading many reviews I was a bit skeptical on this product due to price and reliability. Went ahead anyway and so far its been great. I bought it with my 6 and 9 year old kids in mind, so they could have easier access to washing hands or just grabbing a drink of water. Install was fairly simple, yes there is more to do than a normal tap install but not rocket science either. Works great, sensors seem to be just how they should. I guess if I had one complaint it would be that the setting on the temp doesn't give the coldest water but if you want it primarily for washing hands, warm water is best anyway. Hopefully it will be problem free, but we will see what happens...

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AaronF Works great for a while, terrible quality
We've had our MotionSense faucet for about a year.
We've had to replace the logic controller once and the cartridge twice. I love the MotionSense, but dealing with this thing has been a huge hassle.
This is the last Moen product I will ever purchase.

Just got this faucet a week ago. It's good if your just washing your hands, but in the kitchen you're usually doing more. It just keeps turning itself on whenever i do anything around it and i end up wasting a lot of water. The pressure on the motion sense doesn't seem to be adjustable and is very strong. Also, I wanted to set the motion sense to the coldest water but it doesn't work and the water is still lukewarm.
Apart from the motion sense the faucet is great, great style and i like how it works.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ArmchairBuilder Great Faucet
The Haysfield with the hands free is a great faucet. It's really easy for DIY installation (the install instructions are very good and many of the hoses are push fit). The hands free option is great but you can turn it off if it gets in your way. We turned off the front sensor when cleaning the sink as it will turn on inadvertently. We've gone through three pullout kitchen faucets in three years so we took our time selecting this one. I really like the swivel connection between the pullout and the supply hose...these things normally where out so this should help with that.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by amfups Great Faucet-family loves it
Faucet was simple follow directions to install. I am a do it your self person. Works well and have had no problems with it. I read many PRO and CON reviews and was concerned with the cons. I have had ZERO problems. Was going to purchase A/C adapter to replace batteries but decieded to see how long batteries will last. The faucet is well made- I only ever purchase MOEN. For 40 years I have used MOEN and had no problems in any of my or family or friends homes where they were installed. This faucet can be installed in 1 hole sink all lines and collar fit in 1 hole. There is a plate to cover 3 hole sink. this unit comes with soap dispenser for the 4 hole. Bottom line family loves it.

I have a love/hate relationship with this faucet. I love the hands free aspect...most of the time. There are those times when I don't mean to activate the faucet and do...that I get a wet sleeve.
I hate the fact that the batteries don't last. I installed an electric back up which also quits working often. I have to reset it by going under the sink and plugging and unplugging.
My biggest issue is after 1 ½ years, it is leaking. Badly. And has damaged the cabinet because I didn't catch it quickly enough.
