Moen is a name that everyone knows, and for good reason. This faucet was super easy to install, and the directions were very clear. The finish on it is flawless, and everything (except the sprayer) feels well made. The sprayer that attaches to the faucet is made of plastic and feels kind of cheap for a faucet that costs this much. I expected it to be metal, but it is plastic. After looking at a few others at the store, all seem to be made this way, not just the Moen. The flow is ok, but as with all faucets now days it could be better. All in all a nice, innovative faucet. The sensors work great, the lower one only allows the faucet to run while your hands are under it, and the upper one turns it on until you want it off.

This faucet is obviously great to look at, but what I love the most about it is the hands free functionality. We already had a hands free dish soap dispenser so this was the perfect compliment, and now we never have to touch the faucet again when our hands need to be washed. In my opinion it was worth every penny!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cb88 Quick Install, Trendy and Way Way Cool
If you really use the sink a lot for quick cleaning or just needing to get something filled while your hands are full or dirty, then please look at this product. I loved the install. Other than the fact that I needed two adapters to make it work with my PEX home and had to make a separate trip to the store for them. There is only one hose going to the faucet, all others go to the control box. It was super easy to install the faucet, but it is best to have a second person hold it in place when you tighten it down. I love that you can put the battery compartment anywhere, but disappointed that a power adapter was not included and must be ordered as an accessory. The pull out nozzle is not the same metal material as the neck, but not really noticeable until you touch it. The spray/stream button works fine, but after water is shut off, always reverts to stream, I did not like this feature. I love waving my hand over the spout to turn on for long periods and just holding my hands or a cup under the faucet for a short run. The control unit easily clipped onto the underside of the faucet without needing to drill any holes and the Velcro for the battery box was a much appreciated mounting option. I just love this unit and highly recommend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Best automatic faucet I've found
I have a few Moen faucets in my apartments. I use them because they look beautiful, function properly and have proven reliable, they hold up to tenant abuse.
I ordered this faucet for an upcoming renovation. I'll be installing a three hole stainless steel sink and this stainless Moen ships with the deck plate adapter included in the price. I normally wouldn't install a high end fixture like this Moen Touchless in a rental unit but I want this one to be special. To avoid the need of having to change batteries I'll be dropping an A/C outlet under the sink so I can add the optional A/C adapter. On Moen's site their part number is 169031. According to their parts sheet dated 3/16 the current cost is $125.00. Why is this adapter so expensive? This thing must be made by NASA. Just to confuse matters HD's parts sheet, dated 7/15 shows the model as 177565 for $52.15. I tried calling Moen but it's Saturday, they're closed.
Unlike some of my other faucets the swivel gooseneck does not turn a full 360 degrees, it's probably closer to 150 degrees. For this I am thankful. More than once I've accidentally bumped the water lever when the gooseneck was not above the sink. With the Touchless feature this could be an even bigger problem. Thank you Moen for thinking ahead. Another feature I especially like is the ability to preset the water temperature for the motion sensors by simply adjusting the water handle to a comfortable position and leave it there. Some automatic faucets only offer cold water. Burrrr
Installation is no different than any other faucet except for two additional steps. The control panel gets snapped onto the stem clip and the battery box gets either screwed or Velcro'ed to the wall. (Velcro is included) Velcro will definitely make battery changes easier. All the fittings, except for the water supply lines, are either preinstalled or simply plug-in. A scrapper, to remove old silicone or caulk, an adjustable wrench for the supply lines and a screwdriver for added leverage when tightening the stem nut are the only tools you'll need. As with all water fixtures, before installing the wand or aerator, run the hot and cold for a minute or two to flush the lines of any manufacturing debris that may have been overlooked at the factory.
Moen has an excellent installation video for those who have a problem with written directions. It's a different model faucet but all the steps are the same. Click or cut and paste the link below.
Moen offers a Limited (non-transferable) Lifetime Warranty to the original residential user that covers the finish and function. The battery box is covered for five years. Time will tell how long this one holds up. Hopefully the warranty won't be needed.

Love this faucet! The install was relatively simple. Installed in just over 90 minutes, including removing the existing faucet. The pull down feature is one of my favorite. It is much more efficient than faucets with separate sprayers. Love how easy it is to rise our dishes and then use it to get the sink clean afterwords. The motion sense is perfect when your hands are dirty and you don't want to get the handle dirty. Very impressed with the pressure of the faucet.

This faucet has a nice look. I love that it comes with a soap dispenser because I use the dispenser a lot for hand washing dishes. The installation was quite simple, the only additional step was to hook up the sensor. This faucet would of gotten a 5 stars review if it came with a sensor that hook up electronically and not batteries dependent. I am not sure how long the batteries would last but changing the batteries under the sink every so often is definitely a problem. They do sell the AC adapter but the cost is high for a simple adapter.

Anyone that spends time in the kitchen cooking knows that there is always lots of cleanup time, including the faucet from turning it on and off constantly. This faucet is a dream for every cook. It can be used totally hands free or with the handle when appropriate. It's great to have the pull down head for getting the spray in just the right spot. It would have been nice to have the ac adapter included but works great with battery power as well.

We really didn't want to spend the money for this faucet but after installing and using the faucet we absolutely have no regrets. This product looks great and well designed. Engineered for easy installation! Included are all parts needed including long supply lines. We have had no problems what so ever. Always feels good when you can look back on a purchase and know that it was a good decision. Even got an atta-boy from the wife, how much is that worth?!!
