I just had this installed, and my experience so far is that the soap backs up at the top of the dispenser if I pour it too quickly and it seems to overflow. Then later, when the soap has had a chance to settle down, there is more room. I would like to know how much soap the dispenser should hold so I can put the proper amount in a funnel and leave it, allowing it time to fill slowly.

Answer:
MOST MEASURING CUPS HAVE A PARTIAL SPOUT JUST PERFECT FOR POURING THE
SOAP. IF THE CONTAINER IS EMPTY, PLAN TO FILL WITH NO MORE THAN THREE CUPS OF SOAP. USING A FUNNEL IS SLOW AND MESSY. USING A MESURING CUP, JOB IS DONE IN LESS THAN TWO MINUTES.

Answer:
Yes - swivels 360 degrees. As for left hand mount, the faucet doesn't allow to you switch the handle but I see no reason why you cannont merely mount it "backward." That is, the entire faucet can be mounted with the handle on the left or on the right. Good faucet, by the way.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 281 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Two years out... When I first purchased this faucet, it would have been a five-star. I loved it. It looks great and is easy to use. Installation (professional) was no problem. I've had it for two years when the plastic pieces started breaking. The most noticeable is the cover at the base of the handle. It came loose, and now I need to push it back in every. single. time. I use the faucet which, being the primary kitchen faucet, is multiple times per day. (The photo below is what happens when you turn the water on) Even though the rest of the product still works well, this constant frustration, especially for a "high end" product is enough to have me considering replacement. It does not get abused or used particularly hard -- it is a one-person household, average to below average use, no hard water issues. I cannot guess how fast it would have deteriorated in a family environment. I have not yet contacted the company, so cannot report on whether they are receptive to helping with defective product, but I can say their motto of Buy it For Life-- clearly does not hold if you intend to live longer than a year or two. I strongly recommend you reconsider purchasing any moen product. July 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fit and finish and easy to install Having a broken handle on my old Moen system and not being able to find a replacement part for the inside of the handle or even being able to identify the model number of the existing faucet we decided to replace the unit. Once the older Moen was removed (no easy task and a whole different thread) we were able to install in just under 30 minutes. The only issues that we have seen so far is the lack of an identifier of which way hot and cold are and that the faucet does not retract very well. For the H/C issue we will relearn in time. For the retractably of the faucet, I took the old weight from the system that we were replacing and added it to the line and now it retracts just fine. We may add one more weight to it which can be purchased at just about any plumbing shop or hardware store. I must admit that the older covering of the retractable hose was made of much better quality material (it was 8 years old) and glided through the system much better than the simple nylon mesh covering the hose on this new system. As for any leaks, once the system was installed and all fittings were checked the system charged without any issues and no leaks have been detected. We placed crey paper under everything for the first two days to verify that nothing was leaking even a little bit and not a drop has been found. Time will tell based on others observations. Now we are working with Moen to see about the old system that had rotted/rusted away in 8 years. They do warranty their products and my son, who is a plumber, only recommends and stands by Moen products. We are going to see just how much of a warranty they honor. As a side note: I do not like the soap dispenser as it sticks strait out and is very sharp and pointed. I have stabbed myself several times on this and drew blood. It is of a poor design and should be replaced. January 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Quality is Not Good As many other reviews have stated, our Haysfield developed a "leak". What this usually is inside the handle is the cartridge which controls the hot/cold and on/off of the water flow. The nut that holds the cartridge in place becomes loose. The nut is plastic and is a one-time use only part. Purchased in 2014 and 10 months later the nut become loose and started to leak. I call customer service and they informed me of why the leak and because you cannot tighten more than once they will send a replacement kit. Unfortunately the nut becomes loose every few months since then. I am tightening to the specs but over time just becomes loose. Also now the dome (the part that hides the cartridge, between the handle and the body) will not stay on and the screw to the handle become loose. I have called twice for a new cartridge replacement set and once for a dome kit hoping all will be fine, unfortunately it is not. Will be calling tomorrow asking why the dome kit will not stay on. The design is not good. The dome can only be installed in one location and the handle keeps popping the dome off when the handle is rotated to the down position. Will be calling and asking for my money back for to send a brand new replacement sink faucet. May 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handle Leaks. Handle started leaking in the middle of the night a year after install and ruined the cabinet underneath it. April 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks!! I purchased this faucet last year. It is a great looking faucet and easy to install. It worked fine for about four months and then it began to leak by the handle. I disassembled the handle and tightened up the valve assembly and got it to stop leaking for a couple months...then the leak came back. I'm very disappointed. I paid over 200 bucks for this thing. Buy another brand. March 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ease of installation A very good looking and well functioning faucet which is easy to install. I particularly liked the washer/nut assembly used at the underside to fasten the faucet. Unlike many of the other faucets which a basin wrench is needed to tighten a large nut in a hard to reach area; this unit comes with a long socket tool that fits over a much smaller nut which is a very convenient way to tighten it. The washer has a notch for the hoses so it isn't necessary to fish them through it. Well thought out with a minimum of room required underneath the counter top for the installation hardware. If you have 1/2" IPS angle stop fittings, adapters are required, but not included. January 6, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not pleased with Moen quality nor warranty This faucet was purchased 01/04/2014 and was professionally installed by a licensed plumber. Today 01/082015 we woke to find the kitchen cabinet, counter tops and floors soaking wet. The faucet had developed a leak overnight at the on/off handle. I called Moen. The lady knew exactly what I was talking about and said the would send the replacement "kit" I needed to fix the issue. The kit is free of charge. However the kit would be arriving 01/20/2015. Who can go with a kitchen faucet that long? Not a choice in my household. I had to pay $20 for expedited shipping so the kit can arrive some time tomorrow or Monday. Moen should pay for expedited delivery to their customers. Besides the shipping fee, I also have to pay a plumber to come over and fix it once the kit arrives. Very poor quality for such an expensive faucet after only 1 year of use. I also hope that there is no permanent damage to the hardwood floors, cabinets or rest of my kitchen from water damage.
