Customer Questions & Answers

Is the soap dispenser filled from the top or bottom?

Asked by: Anonymous
Either - the container screws to the dispenser from underneath but it's easier to pull the dispenser out of the mount and pour soap in.

Can this faucet be installed with one hole, without using the mounting base? Also can it be installed with handle on the left side?

Asked by: Anonymous
The directions show that it can be installed without one hole and without the mounting base. However, the handle is only on the right side.

The "cap" near the handle got cracked, as shown in one of the pictures in another review. We used the faucet gently and never abused it. I believe it is a design flaw --- the ways how the water volume and water temperature are adjusted by the handle causes too much stress to the "cap" area, leading to the crack. Another thing is that the handle is placed far away from the tip of the faucet. When you are done with your wash or whatever, your hand reaches the faucet to close it. During this period of time, lots of water is still running. This will be a lot of waste of water in a long time use. I doubt the designer of this particular faucet ever tried his own product. Would avoid this one.

The reach with the hose is good, though it could be a little longer. It doesn't have the magnetic clip to secure the wand in place, but it stays flush without having that feature. Initially the water pressure was lower than what I had on my other faucet, which is great for keeping the water from splashing everywhere, however this can be changed by removing the reducer inside the wand (I watched a YouTube video to show where it is). I prefer more water pressure to help when washing dishes. After removing the reducer it has awesome water pressure. So you can have whatever you like better with this faucet. I love the fact that there is a button to stop the water flow on the wand, and I am surprised at how often I actually use that feature! Instructions are very simple, and it comes with all of the tools you would need to assemble it. All in all, it is an awesome faucet. Highly recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two years out... When I first purchased this faucet, it would have been a five-star. I loved it. It looks great and is easy to use. Installation (professional) was no problem. I've had it for two years when the plastic pieces started breaking. The most noticeable is the cover at the base of the handle. It came loose, and now I need to push it back in every. single. time. I use the faucet which, being the primary kitchen faucet, is multiple times per day. (The photo below is what happens when you turn the water on) Even though the rest of the product still works well, this constant frustration, especially for a "high end" product is enough to have me considering replacement. It does not get abused or used particularly hard -- it is a one-person household, average to below average use, no hard water issues. I cannot guess how fast it would have deteriorated in a family environment. I have not yet contacted the company, so cannot report on whether they are receptive to helping with defective product, but I can say their motto of Buy it For Life-- clearly does not hold if you intend to live longer than a year or two. I strongly recommend you reconsider purchasing any moen product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of installation A very good looking and well functioning faucet which is easy to install. I particularly liked the washer/nut assembly used at the underside to fasten the faucet. Unlike many of the other faucets which a basin wrench is needed to tighten a large nut in a hard to reach area; this unit comes with a long socket tool that fits over a much smaller nut which is a very convenient way to tighten it. The washer has a notch for the hoses so it isn't necessary to fish them through it. Well thought out with a minimum of room required underneath the counter top for the installation hardware. If you have 1/2" IPS angle stop fittings, adapters are required, but not included.

It was not as tall as most faucets like it, which is why we purchased it in the first place. It offered good water flow and loved the pull back from the hose. Well, in almost in two years, water began leaking from the end of the hose that connect to the sprayer. Within a month, that little sprinkle of water turned into a gush of water. It ran down the hose into the bottom of my cabinet...ugh. I did not realize it was doing that because we did not pull out the sprayer often, so I had a good puddle and warped cabinet floor before I realized. Base on the comments, I am not the only one this happened to. Luckily I had a two year warranty and in 30 more days it would have expired. So, I am glad it happened sooner rather than later. Definitely get your warranty, and do a thorough check before it runs out. I got a egift card the same day I filed the claim, so that was a plus for HomeDepot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great customer service and warranty I'm very happy with the faucet this is the second one the first one lasted almost 3 years and started leaking badly internally in the body. Moen replaced it waived shipping fees and all. The customer service is outstanding as they stand by their product. The Haysfield faucet is attractive and looks great on my granite counter top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced the old Ledgand Riser Bought in September 2015 and installed on the 4th of March 2017 along with a new sink, I work slow. So far I like it a lot with the pull out spout I can fill the a pot with out having to lift the thing off the stand. So far the wife is still getting use to it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality control. After installing it went to connect the water line. Brass fitting was squashed. I guess I'll go buy a compression fitting for my new faucet.
