I have had the sink installed for about 6 months now and no leaks have sprung nor have any pieces fallen off. I installed it myself and it was quite easy. This one comes with the soap dispenser but we chose not to install it. The spot resist really does work, I continuously touch the head with wet hands to move it around and there are never spots left on it after it dries.

When I first purchased this faucet, it would have been a five-star. I loved it. It looks great and is easy to use. Installation (professional) was no problem.
I've had it for two years when the plastic pieces started breaking. The most noticeable is the cover at the base of the handle. It came loose, and now I need to push it back in every. single. time. I use the faucet which, being the primary kitchen faucet, is multiple times per day. (The photo below is what happens when you turn the water on) Even though the rest of the product still works well, this constant frustration, especially for a "high end" product is enough to have me considering replacement.
It does not get abused or used particularly hard -- it is a one-person household, average to below average use, no hard water issues. I cannot guess how fast it would have deteriorated in a family environment.
I have not yet contacted the company, so cannot report on whether they are receptive to helping with defective product, but I can say their motto of Buy it For Life-- clearly does not hold if you intend to live longer than a year or two.
I strongly recommend you reconsider purchasing any moen product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by FrustratedWithMoen Do NOT buy this faucet - poor quality construction - major leaks in under two years!
As many others have noted, this faucet is of very poor quality. In less than two years it developed a serious leak that dripped out of the base of the handle onto the counter top and also ran down the outside of the hose leaking onto the cabinet floor under the sink. The shroud around the base of the handle is also plastic and has become very loose over time.
I'm sure the majority of positive reviews are from owners who have very recently purchased. It works and looks great at first, but wait a couple years and you will have problems.

I have always loved Moen faucets and this is no exception. The brushed finish always looks great. The installation seemless. The wand extends to the far side of the extra large sink (we mounted it on the right corner). I look forward to enjoying my new faucet for many years

Having a broken handle on my old Moen system and not being able to find a replacement part for the inside of the handle or even being able to identify the model number of the existing faucet we decided to replace the unit. Once the older Moen was removed (no easy task and a whole different thread) we were able to install in just under 30 minutes. The only issues that we have seen so far is the lack of an identifier of which way hot and cold are and that the faucet does not retract very well. For the H/C issue we will relearn in time. For the retractably of the faucet, I took the old weight from the system that we were replacing and added it to the line and now it retracts just fine. We may add one more weight to it which can be purchased at just about any plumbing shop or hardware store. I must admit that the older covering of the retractable hose was made of much better quality material (it was 8 years old) and glided through the system much better than the simple nylon mesh covering the hose on this new system.
As for any leaks, once the system was installed and all fittings were checked the system charged without any issues and no leaks have been detected. We placed crey paper under everything for the first two days to verify that nothing was leaking even a little bit and not a drop has been found. Time will tell based on others observations.
Now we are working with Moen to see about the old system that had rotted/rusted away in 8 years. They do warranty their products and my son, who is a plumber, only recommends and stands by Moen products. We are going to see just how much of a warranty they honor.
As a side note: I do not like the soap dispenser as it sticks strait out and is very sharp and pointed. I have stabbed myself several times on this and drew blood. It is of a poor design and should be replaced.

As many other reviews have stated, our Haysfield developed a "leak". What this usually is inside the handle is the cartridge which controls the hot/cold and on/off of the water flow. The nut that holds the cartridge in place becomes loose. The nut is plastic and is a one-time use only part. Purchased in 2014 and 10 months later the nut become loose and started to leak. I call customer service and they informed me of why the leak and because you cannot tighten more than once they will send a replacement kit.
Unfortunately the nut becomes loose every few months since then. I am tightening to the specs but over time just becomes loose. Also now the dome (the part that hides the cartridge, between the handle and the body) will not stay on and the screw to the handle become loose. I have called twice for a new cartridge replacement set and once for a dome kit hoping all will be fine, unfortunately it is not. Will be calling tomorrow asking why the dome kit will not stay on. The design is not good. The dome can only be installed in one location and the handle keeps popping the dome off when the handle is rotated to the down position.
Will be calling and asking for my money back for to send a brand new replacement sink faucet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kahuna Ease of installation
A very good looking and well functioning faucet which is easy to install. I particularly liked the washer/nut assembly used at the underside to fasten the faucet. Unlike many of the other faucets which a basin wrench is needed to tighten a large nut in a hard to reach area; this unit comes with a long socket tool that fits over a much smaller nut which is a very convenient way to tighten it. The washer has a notch for the hoses so it isn't necessary to fish them through it. Well thought out with a minimum of room required underneath the counter top for the installation hardware. If you have 1/2" IPS angle stop fittings, adapters are required, but not included.
