Pressue seems low--where is aerator to clean?

I have a Moen 67315C single-handle chrome kitchen faucet with pull-out sprayer. The water flow out of it now seems a bit weak. On my other faucets, I have cleaned the aerator screens when that happens, and that solves the problem. On this faucet, WHERE is the (presumably) gunked-up aerator and how do I get to it so that I can clean it?

Hello and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Integra Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Chrome has a screen washer designed to prevent debris from entering the spray head. The screen washer is located in the threaded area of the sprayer; unthread the sprayer from the hose by twisting it counter clockwise and look inside the threaded area of the sprayer for the screen washer. There is NO external threaded-aerator on this faucet. Where is the screen that I clean when it gets clogged and reduces the flow?

The answer that was given to my question about where I clean out the aerator does NOT apply here. That answer was for a regular faucet with an aerator threaded on at the end. That is not the case with my faucet. There must be an aerator screen somewhere in the Renzo pull-out sprayer faucet. Where is it? How do I get to it? That black shower-head thing at the end doesn't seem like it comes off. Don't tell me I have to replace the whole sprayer wand--that's way too expensive a fix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total garbage! This faucet is total garbage! Save your money. I bought it at Home Depot on January 24, 2012 for $139.00, and I replaced it with a Kohler brand on September 1, 2012. Several months ago the faucet would no longer swivel. Instead, the entire faucet turned in the mounting, and the nut came loose under the sink. The faucet would then flop around in the opening. Tightening the nut did not help, as it would come loose again in several days. The faucet is mostly cheap plastic and the finish was already coming off in seven months. This is the worst faucet I have ever bought in my life and I am 69 years old. I will never buy another Moen faucet! I would rate it zero stars if I could.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from some issues We chose this faucet because we could keep the lever in the cold setting to save hot water, but two other issues dampen my enthusiasm for this fixture. First, the spray setting does not stay on when the flow is low, or when one turns the faucet off. This deficiency wastes water and time. Second, a critical, high-stress part inside the fixture is plastic. It broke after 4 years of normal use. The part was covered by the warranty, but it chose to break over Thanksgiving weekend with relatives visiting (!) and we had to wait a week for the replacement to arrive. Better attention to engineering and durability would have made this a fixture to recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One tragic flaw I like everything about this faucet except one thing: the water flow rate is too low. I understand that this is likely a water conservation "feature," but without sufficient pressure, I probably use just as much water (maybe more) because it takes longer to rinse, wash, wait for it to get hot, etc. It's installed in a summer rental house and has held up very well for two years. I didn't personally select it and wouldn't have known anyway to check the gpm spec. I'm now on a quest to replace it.... :-(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Durable I installed this about 3 years ago. It seemed like the perfect faucet. Now, 3 years later the faucet "wand" or handle won't even stay in the base. The ridges in the base have worn down. My opinion is it's made of very poor materials. I used to have a Delta (similar style but over 40 years old) and wanted to update to something more modern. I had replaced "O" rings in the Delta and it still works great but I wanted to get something a little more stylish. The Moen is made like a cheap beer can!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value This is a solid kitchen faucet. Have 2 of these in use and no failures after 4 years of use. Only minor maintenance required and that is to tighten up the swivel ball every year or so if you notice the faucet stem leaking water a bit when pushed to the extreme left or right. To do this all you need is an allen key that loosens the set screw ( which is hidden under the plastic hot/cold indicator), then gently remove the faucet handle and you will expose the swivel ball/cartridge. Gently tighten the screw down collar and reinstall the handle you removed and your done. Total time 5 minutes!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed with the quality of this product This faucet broke at the end from which the pullout comes out less than 3 months after installation. In addition to that the water connention at the pullout had been leaking causing water to get collected under the sink and damaging my wood cabinet floor. I'm extremely disappointed with this Moen product.
