There is NO external threaded-aerator on this faucet. Where is the screen that I clean when it gets clogged and reduces the flow?

The answer that was given to my question about where I clean out the aerator does NOT apply here. That answer was for a regular faucet with an aerator threaded on at the end. That is not the case with my faucet. There must be an aerator screen somewhere in the Renzo pull-out sprayer faucet. Where is it? How do I get to it? That black shower-head thing at the end doesn't seem like it comes off. Don't tell me I have to replace the whole sprayer wand--that's way too expensive a fix.

I have a Moen 67315C single-handle chrome kitchen faucet with pull-out sprayer. The water flow out of it now seems a bit weak. On my other faucets, I have cleaned the aerator screens when that happens, and that solves the problem. On this faucet, WHERE is the (presumably) gunked-up aerator and how do I get to it so that I can clean it?

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 54 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely disappointed with the quality of this product This faucet broke at the end from which the pullout comes out less than 3 months after installation. In addition to that the water connention at the pullout had been leaking causing water to get collected under the sink and damaging my wood cabinet floor. I'm extremely disappointed with this Moen product. January 3, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by some issues We chose this faucet because we could keep the lever in the cold setting to save hot water, but two other issues dampen my enthusiasm for this fixture. First, the spray setting does not stay on when the flow is low, or when one turns the faucet off. This deficiency wastes water and time. Second, a critical, high-stress part inside the fixture is plastic. It broke after 4 years of normal use. The part was covered by the warranty, but it chose to break over Thanksgiving weekend with relatives visiting (!) and we had to wait a week for the replacement to arrive. Better attention to engineering and durability would have made this a fixture to recommend. November 25, 2007
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buy a Better Model After a while it takes a strong arm to move the spout back & forth [THIS IS TERRIBLE]. You have to grab it by the base to make it swivel & also the spout does not stay snug. June 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Total garbage! This faucet is total garbage! Save your money. I bought it at Home Depot on January 24, 2012 for $139.00, and I replaced it with a Kohler brand on September 1, 2012. Several months ago the faucet would no longer swivel. Instead, the entire faucet turned in the mounting, and the nut came loose under the sink. The faucet would then flop around in the opening. Tightening the nut did not help, as it would come loose again in several days. The faucet is mostly cheap plastic and the finish was already coming off in seven months. This is the worst faucet I have ever bought in my life and I am 69 years old. I will never buy another Moen faucet! I would rate it zero stars if I could. September 2, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moen pullout faucet This faucet is excellent. It is sized correctly. Doesn't hang over the sink excessively.Getting in the way. Cleans up easy. Installs effortlessly. I bought it on sale for under one hundred dollars. Plus it is a Moen. Moen means there are easy to buy replacement parts, washers and such. Call Moen if you need replacement parts. Many times they will send replacement parts to you free of charge. On old products as well. I am a Landlord. I am purchasing these faucets when I need to replace old kitchen faucets. Tenants love them. June 29, 2009
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pull-out sprayer no good Easy to install, attractive faucet. However, the pull out sprayer is clumsy and will never totally re-seat properly. I am going to try something with a magnetic connection. Spend the extra $50 and go for a better quality faucet. September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kitchen faucet i have moen products all over the house. Easy to connect. Only problem is plastic parts sometimes wear but the service is the best all new parts coming free of charge and phone diagnostics were great. I have hard well water and there are never any water spots These peopole know there products and are happy to solve your problems June 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs re-engineering The faucet looked great & functioned, at 1st, as promised. Within 3-months of use, the faucet head began to noticeably become harder to swivel from one side to the other. We re-installed the main unit & all was fine for another 2-months when we once again had to re-install it. Last month we kept the unit slightly loose, but this only made it more difficult to use the sprayer head. Our carpenter told us of other similar cases. We've reported this to Moen just recently.
