Same issue here. That is a Design issue. The only way to remedy would be to move the counter weight higher up the hose, add more weight and also check to see that the weight is not getting in the way of any objects under the sink. I chose the Moen because of the Spot Resist finish which to me out weighed the magnetic closing of the faucet head to the spout from Delta faucets.

I wonder if the weight is not quite in the right position or if the hose is rubbing against something. The weight should be above the hose bend at the bottom and should be attached on the part of the hose that is coming down from the sprayer

For example, an older product with this symptom would require the hose weight to be reinstalled.

I had a new hot water heater installed which caused debris in the water and reduced flow to my single-handle pull-down Moen kitchen faucet. I need to get to the aerator to clean it but the spray head appears to be all one piece and I can only screw it off at the hose. The plumber could not figure it out either and the plumber who installed it absconded with all the paperwork so I have no manual. How do you get to the aerator to clean it???

Check the Moen site. I think you can find PDF files of their instructions by model on their website.
There are illustrations in the Kleo instruction set on the spray head disassembly for clearing aerator screen. Head unscrews from universal joint to expose screen. Hold joint and turn head counterclockwise.

The aerator should disconnects from the hose. Right at the top of the bell there is a flat area on both sides. This is where the wrinch goes. The screen is in here. Rinse out screen and reassemble.

When I complained to Moen abut the reduced flow, they sent me a free new aerator that would give 2.2 instead of the 1.5 flow. Their customer support was awesome! I just got it today and haven't installed it yet, but I expect that it will increase the flow which will change my rating.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it I bought one to my house love this product & I bought to my sister's house August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install but... This faucet installed much more easily than our prior faucets. The quick connects for the water have always been a bugaboo for me. This faucet has the quick connects attached leaving only the connections to the water source. There is even a handy wrench to tighten faucet from underneath. This is our first pull down faucet. In the spray mode the force of the water causes some splatter. If you try to reduce the water force it reverts to single stream. The stop flow mode only works if you hold it in the mode. Once you release the switch it reverts to single stream. We thought we could "pause" the flow while scrubbing large pots. Not a deal breaker but a minor inconvenience. Have just installed it so cannot respond to durability. July 11, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does not retract fully After 18 months of light use, the hose would not fully retract and self dock. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice addition to our kitchen Moen is top of the line.. The look of the faucet and the way the handle and faucet move speak volumes for the quality. The finish is exceptional and the quality is Superb.. We could not be happier. February 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Durable! DO NOT BUY IT! The Moen Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet NOT DURABLE! IT fell apart in several month! Home deport warranty only 90 days. February 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice upgrade and very easy to install Our current faucet started looking a little shabby and needed a few fixes. After evaluating several brands and types we knew we wanted a pull-down faucet and one that had a very flexible hose and that would resist spots and look good all the time with out requiring extra cleaning and something that we knew parts would be available for a long time for. We selected this Moen and really like it. It looks great and the adjustabilty and flexibilty of the hose is super. Install couldn't have been easier and a pleasent surprise when we took it out of the box was it came with the flexible water lines already installed which made the install fast and actually saved us money as we didnt have flexible water lines on the old faucet. The faucet has been installed for a couple weeks already and used heavily preparing holiday meals and has worked flawlessly. December 24, 2015
