does this come with complete installation instructions?

we are replacing the original stopper which is activated by a lever behind the faucet. We have no experience in this field, so would like to know what instructions we might expect to be provided. Also, what is the difference between a pop-up with and without an overflow and when would you chose one over the other?
Asked by: squirrel
Hello Squirrel. Thank you so much for your interest and support in Moen products. The Moen pop-up drain assembly without over flow will come with installation instructions. A sink that has a hole usually located at the top back side of the sink, has an over flow. An overflow drain assembly will also have holes in the tailpiece. This will allow water to drain out if water should ever get into the sink overflow. If you have additional questions, please call Moen at 1-800-289-6636 our business hours are 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday EST.
