I need the Valve for this product but not sure which one it is

Hello Angela. Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Legend single-handle Moentrol valve and trim product, 3150 does come with the rough-in valve. The valve is our Meontrol pressure balancing valve design with integral check stops, ½” IPS connections. If you have additional questions, please call Moen at 1-800-289-6636 our business hours are 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday EST.

need to fix dripping problem from moen 3150

dripping out of tube faucet do i need a special tool?

Hello Herb. Thank you so much for your interest and support of Moen products. The Moentrol one handle faucet is designed with a 1225 cartridge. Replacing the 1225 or 1200 cartridge should resolve the dripping in your bathroom. A special tool is not necessary but it may make the installation easier. We have attached the following diagram of the fixture to illustrate the replacement parts.
