Towels bars are more solid when you find a stud for at least one end.

I read great reviews of the Moen Method accessories so I purchased 6 different items. I feel the design is difficult to install and the metal, especially the towel bars, feel cheap compared to other brands I have purchased. Yes it has one screw per side for install but I think two would have been a lot better. I have had to repatch walls already and use different hardware as well. I only have one item fully installed and two other needing repair. I'm debating taking them back vs proceeding. I am experienced in remodeling and these products have really been a pain.

Moen Method towel bars are very stylish, and look great. However, installation was a nightmare. The screw mechanism was very flimsy. Half of them did not expand once placed in the wall. We had to go to hardware store and buy screw mechanism that actually worked.

I love the Moen Method line and I like being able to use towel bars of different lengths in different areas of the bathroom.

The towel bars look beautiful & match some of my other hardware nicely but it will probably pick up dirt as the brushed metal is bare. I took one star off for lack of clear coat ontop & lack of template/instructions(bought 2, neither had templates, one had instruction) & one star for the poor way they mount & fact if off even 1/16" it will show. I had also bought (for another bathroom) the Banbury 24"(clear powder coat finish on top) that had instructions & template. Cut & taped the template as it wasn't 24" exactly on Method as instructions stated. The brackets for mounting are poor at best compared to the Banbury. You have to hammer/push in small tabs at the side of the bracket that go into the drywall (none went in straight) it will cause the bracket to be off. The single screw/bolt with compression fitting was another problem. Instruction says to not to over tighten yet you feel a bit of resistance when it first starts to collapse then it never changed tension. Not sure how long these brackets will stay tight to the wall.

I was looking for solid towel bar and the width is not wider than door frame thickness so I can widely open the door & this towel bar satisfy me in all my requirements..
