We installed the faucet using the plate. The plate does not screw down tight like the old one did. Every time we turn it on or off it wiggles. It would seem that water is going to get under it and drip down into the cabinet. Is there any way to tighten it down tight so the faucet doesn't move?

This has been somewhat of a disappointment.The red/blue hot/cold indicator on the faucet was the first thing to drop off and go down the drain.Next was the spray regulator which now only works when the rubber button is being pressed instead of holding the spray as when newly purchased about a month ago.
The design and quality of this faucet are not what I expected from a Moen product!

I bought this faucet and installed this faucet the other day and right away I was sorry I did. It looks great, seems to be very sturdy, but the hot and cold water hoses are built into this faucet so that makes it impossible to replace hose if it starts to leak. In addition, my biggest beefs are: 1. the water flow is almost as slow as me going to bathroom. 2. The faucet handle is too short and curved too much. 3. The faucet handle is too low to sink.

I bought this because of the moen name - While I hope the faucet internals are quality construction the outside casing is plastic - which of course is spot resistant - its painted plastic - for 99 dollars this would be fine but moen needs to give better quality for the price they charge.
Don't waste your money on a cheap plastic faucet

13 years and worked great. Developed leak where sprayer attaches to hose . Called Moen and they shipped me a new one, no questions asked. I had no receipt and never registered product but they sent out an entirely new faucet immediately. I am now a Moen customer for life.

I bought this Moen kitchen faucet at Home Depot way back in 2008, to replace an American Standard that had broken. Since then, it developed leaks in 2009, 2013, and again now in 2015. All three times, I called Moen under the Lifetime Warranty, and they shipped me the parts and instructions to fix the faucet free of charge. Yes, it's not great that it developed leaks in the first place, but the customer service folks at Moen are very friendly and they can diagnose the problem right over the phone. So now it's 7 years and still they're shipping me the parts I need. So in the long haul, this product will last much longer for me, since I will not have to search for replacement parts or throw it out when it breaks like I did with my older faucet. That's why I recommend it, but I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it did develop problems, and it's a pain to fix every few years.

The faucet sprayer never stays in the neck. The swivel base is nearly impossible to rotate. If the water comes on full pressure is will cause the weak hosing to burst (which is has done repeatedly). Had the faucet hoses all replaced and the next day there were 4 inches of standing water under the cabinet. The water caused the cabinet base to swell and it now needs replaced as well. $290 for Roto Rooter to replace + taxes + cost of new faucet + cost of new base cabinet. It will work fine 2 years then you'll have over $1000 in repairs. Plumber said they are always replacing these.

Not so happy with this product. The plastic base gets ground down over a very short period of time - less than a year each time you pull out the faucet for use. The hose will rub along the base and then it will no longer sit in the holder correctly anymore. Ours just hangs out of the base about half an inch and looks horrible. People come over and keep saying you need to get a new one and they can't believe it when I tell them it's less than a year old and we paid $160 for it. Do not buy this product. For the money you can find a better one. Read lots of reviews first.
