Answer:
No, the supplied screws are long enough to firmly secure this grab bar. Just use a masonry bit to drill pilot holes, then insert screws, or white plastic drywall anchors and screws if there is no wood backing behind the drywall and tile, to firmly attach grab bar.

Hello ume1garapan,
If the concrete wall is solid I recommend first drilling through the tile. For this I suggest using tile bits. These will make drilling through the tile much easier and lessen the chance of shattering.

To drill through the concrete use a masonry bit of appropriate size for an anchor.
Masonry bits:

To support the bar use a concrete anchor. The anchor will make sure the bar is securely fastened and supported by the wall. I hope this helps.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice addition to shower It is very effective, sturdy and always good to have for a shower. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well for us The bar works well with no surprises and shows no signs of corrosion after two months use. Some planning is necessary to find a location on drywall in order to anchor the mounting screws into two studs. We chose to mount the 24 " long bar at an angle to span the 18" stud width spacing. We will consider buying the 18" grab bar next time. June 24, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful product This was the second time I have purchased this Moen product from the Home Depot. Both times I have been impressed with the speed of delivery and especially with the quality of the product. These grab bars are easy to install and very sturdy. Thanks Moen and Home Depot! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looked and functioned as pictured. Although I was not the person who installed this grab bar, it appears to be easy enough to do, and looks like a nice, neat, functional installation. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Why not design these like a stair railing? This is not a criticism of this particular product, just a general comment on all of them. The manual says they should be attached to wall studs. But wall studs are typically spaced 16"apart. The mounting holes on these bars are not 16"apart so it becomes impossible to mount both ends to studs unless you mount them on some strange angle, or mount them vertically. Otherwise you must attach one end to drywall. Why couldn't they be made like stair railings. Stair rails have mounting brackets that attach to studs where ever they are. Then the rail is attached to the brackets at any point along the rail. That's a very strong arrangement. It's much stronger than attaching to drywall. December 22, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moen is top of the line. As always, from the time it was uncrated to the time it was put in place, it was exactly what I expected. High quality. You need to know what you are doing to install rails, even as simple as they appear. This is something that needs to be good quality for the safe usage in a bathroom or shower. This works.
