Although expensive, the quality and function was well worth the cost.

I purchased this soap dispenser to go with a Moen Level Single Handle Pull-down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in stainless. The spot resist stainless on the soap dispenser matches the stainless faucet perfectly. It is very nice and high quality. The bottle is large, probably holds about 30 oz. One thing that will come up when first using, is which soap to put in there? The dish soap or the liquid hand soap? I initially chose the dish soap because my Dawn bottle is really big, and not very attractive, while my hand soap is smaller and nicer looking to have out on the counter. Well, in my case, the "spout" of the soap dispenser is a bit too short (by 1/4") and comes straight down from the spout- (not on an angle) into the sink. When I squirt, it makes a mess on the edge of my granite counter top and drips down the side of my stainless undermount sink. I installed it in an existing hole that used to be a pull out sprayer, so perhaps it's just my installation that didn't quite work. However, take this into account when installing. If you are planning on putting your dish soap in there, you want a nice clean squirt into your sink, so make sure you measure the distance between your install hole and the edge of the sink, keeping in mind the bottle width underneath. You don't want to install it and then the space is too tight for the bottle to go in there from underneath. Also, the threads on the bottle are plastic, so you must be careful when screwing it in, so they don't get stripped. Not every plumber thinks of these details. For refilling, fill from above the counter. The top of the dispenser just lifts out (very easy). I got a white plastic funnel that I stick down in there, and pour my soap into, so I can see when I'm getting to the top, avoiding overfilling and getting soap everywhere. A common complaint. Also, make sure your funnel is not too tight, so there is space for the air to escape as the bottle fills with soap. In my case, I'll put the hand soap in there, so at least my hand is under the squirt - avoiding the mess on the countertop. I still have to solve the ugly dish soap bottle on the counter issue. Maybe I should just be disciplined and put it back under the sink when I'm finished using it! Hmmmm...like that will ever happen!
