Is it possible to attach a hose for a hand held head as well as the rain shower head?

Asked by: Josey
Yes. It will accommodate any type of shower heard or hose. It is merely a replacement for the pipe that was previously installed, which is pretty universal.

Overall this shower arm was the perfect final touch for our shower after the first arm we had was too low. Its pricey for what it is, but when doing a major renovation was worth every penny to have an arm that was high and away from the wall. The one negative I would comment on is the wall cover piece is poorly designed and too loose so it does not stay flush without sealant or something else to hold it against the wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pricey, But the right part This arm is exactly what I wanted to match our Moen, burshed nickel faucets, etc. and it installed with out needing any tools (beyond hands). Our "rain shower" is now right even with the arm coming from the wall. It brought the head to the center of the stall and allows the head to face directly down, not off at some random angle. Heavy material. I suspect it will out last the house. A bit pricey for JUST a shower arm, but, it seams that when you get into the quality, higher end products, you pay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed for rainshower effect. A normal residence can't have a real rain shower effect. I stayed in a hotel where the water gushed out. Guess it had large pipes. A rain shower head coming out of the ceiling would be preferable. The easiest, least costly way to get a fairly decent rain shower effect from the wall section, is with this extension. It raises the height of the rain head, and is absolutely essential for a tall person. It is a nice quality product. It does need to be installed inside the shower wall. Had it done with a another plumbing job. Took the plumber 5 minutes. Really a do it yourself project. I was a little cautious about installing the pipe in a wall, without being able to see leaks. I was also concerned about breaking the old one off, inside the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shower arm I wanted to raise the height of my shower and this arm did the trick perfectly. Used it with a larger Kohler shower head (both in rubbed oil bronze) and they look like they were made together. Created sort of a rain shower effect. I love it!
