Customer Questions & Answers

How much does this fountain weigh?

I have read the product description, but it doesn't include the weight.
Asked by: Kelly2015
The online specs say 27 1/2 pounds.

How long is the cord?

One review said the cord was "absurdly long" which just may solve my installation challenge depending on how long it actually is. Also, would it be ok to run it along the ground from the fountain to a covered area where there's an outlet?
Asked by: Hummingbird
It's over 20 feet, but the long cord part is only 12 volts, so you can extend it and run it along the ground safely.

can I order a replacement pump and ac adapter for this item?

Asked by: bearabo
The cord from the fountain itself is 12V & attaches to an adapter whose cord is what plugs into the outlet.

Where can I get mounting instructions before I by this?

Asked by: dale
it comes with instructions about exactly how far apart (~21") the screw heads should be for it to hang from. the screws heads slip into notches in the back. It's heavy so use sturdy screws. We drilled those holes out a tiny bit to accommodate the head on the screws we used.

34-1/4 in. H Cast Stone Wall Fountain in Granite Finish is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but needs flow control & shorter cord Beautiful, much more substantial that other fountains in this price range, looks high-end. However, I wish their was a flow control knob on the pump because the water gushes out like a hose and it is not a relaxing sound. I am so glad that I read the other review that mentioned turning the spout 180 degrees to create a softer sound. Also, the cord is SO long. I mean, absurdly long. I don't know what to do with it. For now its hidden inside a watering can!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adds interest to outside wall....granite color blends well. Was first disappointed with water flow from simple spicket..however, found that if you turn the spicket around the water "trickles" down over the face of the fountain...much more interesting and softer sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED IT!!!!!! I've been watching for a while, wasn't quite sure, hubby surprised me & bought it..I LOVE it! Wasn't sure if it would look cheap...but it DID NOT....again, I love it. Fountain runs smooth but strong, and it has a perfect aged look / looks high quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition We purchased this fountain to complete the functionality and look of an indoor niche made for a fountain in our 80 yr. old home. It looks great in the floor to ceiling tile opening esp. with plants in the sunken bowl underneath. It did however have a strong odor when first placed. Put it outside for a week and the odor was gone. Since used indoors, we turned the spout up and added an additional copper elbow to direct the water against the fountain face for a quieter and softer look. Added an underwater light in bowl for night time ambiance. We couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely made, attractive, pleasant sound, doesn't splash too much if you sit near it We bought this to hang on the brick wall of our breezeway, where we often sit in the evening in nice weather. This is one of the few fountains we found that wasn't made flat on the bottom so somebody could just sit it down. It hangs easily with two screws that fit into metal keyhole fittings on the back for a flush fit to the wall. I think the rounded bottom makes it look more attractive, personally. Attractive design, the faux granite finish looks good. Think French. Another reviewer thought the sound wasn't relaxing, but we feel just the opposite. You don't have to listen to a humming pump either, which is an issue with some other fountains we looked at. If you don't like the sound with the 1/2" copper pipe 90 degree fitting aimed down like in the picture, you can always turn it up (it's a friction fit), or make your own custom water outlet design out of standard copper fittings. The cord from the 12 volt power supply IS really long (about 20 feet or more), as another reviewer noted, but it was no big deal to shorten it - I just cut the wire near the back of the fountain, shortened the cord from the power supply to the fountain, and connected the wires together with two wire nuts, which are easily tucked into the opening in the back of the fountain. I used the 12 volts AC to also power a few LEDs that sat in the bottom of the basin as well, and the ripples/waves cast a pretty lighting effect on the ceiling after dark. Two Aqua LEDs connected back-to-back (in anti-parallel) in series with a resistor across the 12 vac works great. I used RTV silicone to waterproof the wiring junctions, but 12vac won't even shock you, although wiring will corrode without it after a while. Be aware the pump will not run without water, but the basin holds plenty so the water evaporating and burning up the pump won't be an issue. We used an X-10 appliance module to turn it on and off, which is very convenient. The fountain plus a wind chime makes the breezeway very inviting. I would expect you would be as pleased as we are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Touch of Italy Can't say enough good things about this graceful wall fountain. Came fully assembled. Arrived with no damage due to exceptional packaging. Turning the spout up provided the lovely sound of a bubbling stream, very cleansing & peaceful to listen to. Splashes though so goes through a bucket of water a day. The ~30' cord was able to reach all the way to my nearest outlet without the use of an extension cord. We created a board with screws in it (for the fountain to latch onto) with hooks coming out the top so it can hang off the chain link fence on my garden wall. A couple of ports in the back seemed to be missing their screen covers so I just cut some pieces of hardware cloth & attached those to the fountain with gorilla tape - fixed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty Pump The wall fountain arrived and was easy to install. The pump however ran for a week and quite. A replacement pump was sent and same results. A replacement fountain was requested and I am still waiting for that - it apparently was sent to another address. Not impressed.
