Product Overview

Update your home with help from the sleek, contemporary M. S. International Inc. 18 in. x 31 in. Blue Pearl Polished Granite Floor and Wall Tile. This cool blue tile has a shimmering effect and is made of Grade 1, natural stone construction that is suitable for your floor, wall or countertop. Its unglazed, polished smooth finish features a high sheen with moderate variation in tone for a natural look. It offers a frost-resistant design for long-lasting use. With a large selection of accessories to choose from, this tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for residential and commercial installations, including kitchens and bathrooms. NOTE: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

Answer:
I grouted mine with unsanded black grout which keeps the water from going down the cracks. There's a video about this on Youtube if you google it. Otherwise you could use clear silicone between the cracks if you lay them tight together.

Hi Grace,
Grace you would first install a backerboard over your existing counter or you would build a base for the backer board out of the 3/4" cdx plywood.Once the backerboard is installed your next step would be installing the tile. To install tiles you would need to use tile thinset.I would recommend product called Versabond.Keep in mind thinset is available in gray and white.Actual thinset will transparent thru the tile to some point. This said if you decide on going with white your tile will come out lighter than what it would with gray thinset .You will also need spacers, use smallest size available which is i believe 1/16" for the what they call a zero grout line ....for more of the granite ctop appearance. Once the tile is installed you will need to fill the grout line with obviously :) grout ... use non sanded grout and matching caulking for he inside corners. After 24 hrs grout and tiles can be sealed to minimize water and stain penetration.
Hope this helps and if you need additional helps with your project you can also post you question on our how to community.homedepot.com

Answer:
Yes, you can split up a box. They are individually marked inside the box. I've done that a couple times now with this exact tile.
