Answer:
Use around an electric fireplace would seem to be an ideal place for use of this tile, without grouting. Moreover, it would be nearly impossible to grout between the rows of stone without creating a serious mess.

Answer:
No grout... but you have to use a backing compound to make it stick to the wall and you must put it on thin because when you press the tile into the wall it will come out thru every crack. Get a color that blends with tile verse using white... We used white and had to take a brush and water and scrub over tile to get the white to disappear...

Answer:
This can be done but it is pains-taking work to properly trim and line up the tile pieces on either side of the corner so that they interweave alternately on the corner. Most people won't have the patience to do this and, given the labor involved, it will be pricy for a contractor, but it is possible.

Good question. I think that if you start from the corner you can form a corner by a slight overlap the thickness of the tile. Watch the adhesive and clean any excess promptly before it dries. Hello babyhip and thank you for your question.
You will need to use a Schluter RONDEC bullnose trim to provide a finishing and edge protection profile for the tiled edges and outside corner.
Best wishes on your project

Any wall, just don't put it inside the shower. Too many cracks and holes in the pieces, you'll end up with mold from the water that would get in there.

Good question. I think that this tile would be fine on a bathroom wall however in this case I would certainly suggest sealing it with something in order to keep moisture from getting behind the tile. Ask the tile people at Home Depot what they would suggest and try it on a sample first.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great Looks great around the fireplace. A little hard to cut, but we made it work. If a piece broke off, we just added another full piece. Understanding how to make it work took a little work but it turned out great. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazingingly easy and beautiful! I saw this Stone tile and thought it would make a great backsplash in my bathroom. It turned out to be a simple job. I had to make three cuts with a tile saw but that was not problematic. I'm a 72 year old woman with minimal construction skills and I created a wonder 12' backsplash. I feel like Wonder Woman!!! June 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great backsplash Used this as a backsplash on custom bar looks great ! Was a nice contrast to stacked stone we did on fireplace May 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stores sell broken chipped tiles This tile is very unique and looks amazing. Unfortunately good luck finding it without any damage. On their display wall all the pieces are perfect but not on the shelf for customer to purchase. It's chipped in several places. I only found 2 out of 26 that were good. The employee of Home Depot are not helpful either. I've been told that it's a natural stone it's should be chiped and broken. it is a natural stone, but it is perfectly cut into even pieces. When we took off packaging plastic, the chipped pieces fall out and there is no way a tile saw can cut those tiny pieces when they fall out. Anyway, tile is nice, but what they are selling is like a "carton with broken eggs" and expecting to pay the same price. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice tile Very easy to install and cut. Used mastik and had the wall done in about 2 hours. Took a while to go through and make sure all sheets were the same shade as some are grey tinted and others are brown. Wish these were available as individual tiles as the varying depths of the stones makes it impossible to get outlet covers to sit flush February 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product - tiled kitchen island Easy tile to work with but you have to start level and stay level or you'll have gaps between sheets. Easy to cut/trim. I installed using mastic 3/16" V notch. Had some push through cracks (minimal) but sponge and tooth brush cleaned it right off. My island had rounded drywall corners so instead of schluter outside corners at $70 each I built 90 degree corners out of popular and stained to match cabinets. If your island has sweeping bend like mine take the mosaic sheet and bend it with your hands before laying - kind of break the stiffness of the back of it and it will lay nicely for you. Some pieces fell out but easy enough to place them back in where needed - like I said lots of texture so you don't have to worry about a perfect fit. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it This was the easiest backslash I have ever installed. No grout. Perfect May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice tile for accent border Overall I really like this tile and it wasn't very hard to install. The only issues I had were that not all of the pieces match, but that is a given since it is real stone, and the second issue was broken or missing stones. They do break fairly easy, so just make sure that you aren't missing any sections when purchasing. I definitely recommend sealing the stone because it brings the colors out and helps hide the differences between batch colors. June 17, 2015
