Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

Greecian White 4 in. x 4 in. Tumbled Marble Floor and Wall Tile (1 sq. ft. / case) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 113.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be careful! If you plan to do your bathroom with this marble, buy plenty! Rather more than less! If you run out of it, the chances of getting even a similar color is very little. I have seen grayish, beige, greenish... Other than that it looks great...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too many variation The tile itself is nice but order double so you can pick out the colors that are similar. Too many variation. It wasn't so bad for me since I'm just doing a small powder room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking, be aware of variation This is a good product if you know what you are getting. There is A LOT of variation in the color, size and thickness of the product. The color ranges from flawlessly white to yellow to gray to green, with a few blue and purple hues. There are also many beautiful natural variations one would expect in stone--flecks of gold and black and green and blue. If you are looking for white only, this is not your product. The variation in size is a little more frustrating and more what you would expect with a budget product. There is at least a 4mm variation between the smallest and largest widths, lengths and thicknesses. DIY beginners will find installation of this product challenging.

Putting this in a rental condo in Cocoa Beach, FL. Was looking for something that would stand the test of time. The tiles are going on the shower walls, along with a decorative 4 inch glass tile that will be about 16 inches down from the ceiling. We used the Grecian White hexagon marble tile on the shower floor. I think it will be beautiful when finished. I would recommend ordering/purchasing extra tile so you can pick out the pieces you like best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful tile if you're willing to put in the work After reading all of the reviews my husband and I decided to go to various Home Depots and inspect each tile in order to achieve the consistent look we were trying to get for our bathroom remodel. We needed 30 boxes but have only been able to find 20 that are all in the same color family. As the other reviewers mentioned there are huge color differences and variations from box to box. We went through several pallets of tile at each of the Home Depots and still have not completed our search. It was very tedious and tiring but the tile is so pretty and inexpensive that we decided to put in the work. My remodel will be done in about two weeks, I will post pictures at that time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flawed Beauty There is a lot of waste with the 12x12s in this tile, as many of them are marred with tiny black flecks. Also, my contractor tells me these pieces are thicker than the product typically purchased at a specialty tile store, which makes installation a tad more difficult., i.e. cutting, trimming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Know what you're getting into My wife and I run a small business renovating older, mid-price houses in Western Pennsylvania. This is the white marble tile we turn to when we need white marble tile, and we use white marble in almost every renovation. There is, really, an incredible amount to say about working with marble, and even if I subdivide that into working with white marble, there's still too much to put in a review. I first started working with white marble in Athens, Greece, renovating mid-price apartments. Without preening, I would ask you to believe that I am competent to write a review on this marble tile. It is wincingly named "Greecian marble." It is not as good in many ways as best or middle-grade tiles of the five or six different kinds of famous and widely-used white marble that most Americans think of when they think of Greek marble. Nor it is good as similar-quality, similar-looking Italian or Turkish marble, in many ways. These Greecian marble tiles are often sold with superglued cracks, bad pit fills, reground backs, plenty of cracks, and all sorts of faults. The patterns can be wildly inconsistent, as I suspect that these tiles are really a mix of four or five different varieties of Chinese marble. All the same, this Chinese white marble represents the best possible value in white marble that is available where we live without special orders sourced directly from a quarry. Remarkably, it is comparable to most white marble that is sold here for two to five times the price. If you're new to working with marble, if you haven't been up and down the market and seen it all, you should learn quite a bit about working with marble before you make a decision about how good or bad this stuff is. If for some reason your contractor denigrates this product or insists that another, more expensive white marble that he has not sourced directly from a Greek, Italian, or Turkish quarry, preferably from a guy he is related by blood to, is just a million times better than this marble, you need to rethink your contracting choices. I've seen plenty of low-grade Greek, Italian, and Turkish marble that is clearly inferior to the best pieces of this marble. I am extremely grateful that the Home Depot stocks these tiles heavily and sells them for this price. I will continue to buy and use them extensively in my work until they stop doing so. This is far and away the sweetest deal in American home improvement I have found so far in the years I have been working here.
