Product Overview

M S International Mediterranean Walnut 6 in. x 12 in. Chiseled Travertine Pavers add timeless Tuscan beauty into your patio or walkway. These chiseled natural-stone pavers are ideal for indoor and outdoor applications. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities. Size and weight are approximate.

I've read that some people have bought "budget" travertine and ended up with second rate stone with lots of large holes, occaisionally completely through the tile. If one of more of these tiles is defective, such as having large holes that make it no longer "top quality", will Home Depot replace that/those tile(s)?

Answer:
The tiles are diverse; no two are alike. I have seen some with holes and some without, but none that go all the way through.

Is it correct that the pallet load of the MS International 6x12 travertine pavers costs more than buying them individually?

Answer:
Yes. According to HD the pallet has 187 paving stones. HD site lists these at $1.99 sold individually. So if you buy as a pallet it costs $529 but bought individually it costs $372.13. So i would buy individually and save $156.87. All the information i used was provided from this website. good luck on your projects!

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice tile - horriible price Big question is why HD charges so much for this pallet of tiles? I've asked but never was answered why HD charges $3.13 each for the same tiles which at the store sell for ~ $2 each. So I paid HD about $1000 more to have these delivered instead of picking them up in the store. I also purchased about 80 more tiles from the store and paid less than $2 per tile. Overall quality was good and I only had a couple broken tiles. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice quality stone Only difficulty was the difference between pallets and the few extras we needed to get direct from store stock. Best to estimate it correctly the first time and mix from each as you place. Very few broken or chipped, beautiful natural stone. Easy cut with diamond blade skilsaw. Went to Lowes though for the right sealant /color enhancer. November 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy, inexpensive and nice I use these travertine/limestone tiles as stepping stones where're I see the need for them in the yard. Often I place them to make a path leading to a birdbath so I may fill birdie's bath without getting soaked and muddy. No two are alike. All come with a stylish chiseled edge and smooth diverse pattern finish in pinky beige. They are inexpensive, lightweight and tough; just right for me. You find them in outdoor garden with the rest of the in stock pavers. October 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No longer available in store I bought some of these last year to use as edging stone toppers and patio accents to tie my landscaping together. Needed to get a few more so I went to my local HD only to find out they are no longer available in store. I have no need for a full pallet of them and now my landscaping is incomplete. Was disappointed that they are no longer available for individual purpose, especially when you have to replace cracked or broken ones in a patio. May 14, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by patio half done and now they dont sell these in the store, palet price double these are really beautiful when installed, however: HD does not sell them in the stores now and my patio is half done. so now I am forced to buy a pallet of pavers that I can not hand pick (the pallet will have about 1/4 of the pavers that are not useable (holes, cracked, chipped corners etc...) price has gone from $4 to over $6 plus home delivery is $55. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Still looks good after 3 years. I had these pavers installed over 3 years ago as part of a curved walk in my back yard. After several hot summers and 1 very cold winter, only 2 of the pavers (out of 320) have cracked. I like these pavers so much that I plan on purchasing 240 more pieces for a patio that I want to build in front of a fireplace that we just built in the backyard. It is rare that you get compliments on a walkway, but I have received several compliments on how good these look. The only negative comment I could make other than HD does not keep these in stock, is that late every spring I have to hose them down with a diluted bleach solution to bring back their color and remove any fungus. This may be due to the walk not receiving much direct sunlight during the winter months. July 9, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Product review Prefer natural stepping stones over concrete cast stones. Home Depot had the travertine steppers marked down. I thought they were a good buy. July 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stepping stones I really liked the color of the stone when I saw it. Bought a few to use as stepping stones in my garden area. Worked well for the price. June 6, 2014
