Answer:
The big difference is, if ceramic chips you see the red clay spot.
If porcelain chips you still see the color of the tile through out. Not as noticeable.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. In general, porcelain tile is harder than ceramic and offers greater design flexibility. Although both are made from clay and other naturally occurring materials fired in a kiln, the clay used to make porcelain tile is more refined and purified

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful The floor looks beautiful. For the price you can't beet it. May 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Family Room Floor The room looks really nice but we had some trouble with uneven tiles, broken tiles in box. My husband had to make several adjustments due to tile irregularities but overall the floor will be great for many years to come. I love the color and all the tile seems to blend well. Our room is about 20 x 22 and this tile works fine. Imperfections I suppose should be expected in a lower cost tile. Average household it saves a lot and looks good, just be prepared for some challenges while laying. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WELL WORTH PRICE AND LOOK-SEE PICS WE LOVE THIS TILE, ITS CHEAP YET QUALITY. SEE PICS December 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by All around good and cheep I put this in a rental unit It has held up well and hides the dirt. When I was working on the unit I dropped a hammer off the ladder onto the floor and there were not chips or cracks. I like to tile under the cabinets just go wall to wall the cost is not that much more and a lot easier. March 24, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What u pay is what you get Tiles: prices was good, looks good except when i'm a quarter way thru putting down the tiles i come to realized that these titles are all different size by 1/8 inch. I got it at a really good price but i guess u'll get what you pay for. April 1, 2014
