Was looking for a highly scratch resistant flooring for our dining room. Our dogs have scratched our wood floors & while this was pretty, I was concerned the shiny finish would scratch. I attacked it with fork to test it out & couldn't make a mark. Then, my husband tried a sharp knife. Passed both tests, so we had it installed. Very happy with the results!

It's easy to work with, does not chip easily. Easy clean up since it's so smooth.

I searched high and low for a quality high gloss tile without the high cost. I found this tile at Home Depot in Destin FL. When I saw this tile I knew it would be beautiful in my kitchen. I contacted a professional installer because I wanted small grout lines, in effect getting that marble or stone look. The contractor did a great job he even finished the kickboards with tile. I loved it so much I continued the tile throughout my living room. Since the installation I have gotten many complements and my friends ask where did I buy it. I thought the floor would be slippery all the time but it is a pleasur to walk on and it is not overly slippery when wet. It does require cleaning to maintain that constant shine, but nothing that a CLEAN wet mop and a dry cloth won't handle. I love it so much I will be doing my master bath with this gorgeous tile.

It does not scratch easily and looks stunning in my foyer and bathroom. First Pic is the unfinished project with plastic protective layer still attached to outside of each individual tile so it doesn't do it justice....Its gorgeous !
Also glossy but not does not feel slippery when wet; Im not scared to slip on it at all.

I just installed 40 square feet for a bathroom. I used 1/16 grout lines with Custom SimpleGrout in "linen" - this was what was used in the sample in the store and I would recommend this to be used as you wont find anything that matches better. I had to argue with someone else about using 1/8 or 1/16 - to me there is no argument - for a marble tile you dont use larger than 1/16 as it ruins th look. There are arrows on the bottom of the tile showing which way is the "top" - I noted these arrows on the top of the tile and scattered them in different directions taking the advice of another reviewer (you can see the difference in one of my photos - left group is laid out scattered and right group is laid out aligned by arrows). I also made notes of the patterns on the tile and tried to space those out - if you look carefully you start to see things in the marble grains the same way you see things in clouds. All the tiles seem to be printed in a staggered manner from about a 4 foot long master print. The project's biggest challenge was avoiding lippage whilst keeping the grout lines straight. You might put a tile down, realise it needs a bit more mortar to be level with the others or needs to be pushed this way or that, and try to pull it up but it is incredibly hard to do. The squares on the bottom of the tiles create suction with the mortar and I had to use a flat head screwdriver to pull it up. It was very difficult and very messy and in the end the results are far from perfect. I wouldnt say this has to so with anything other than a floor that isnt perfectly flat and just the problems inherent with installing tiles using mortar. However the overall appearance of the installed tile is beautiful and luxurious even though MY workmanship left a lot to be desired. The color of the grout blends perfectly which helps the uneven grout lines blend in. Originally these tiles were considered for a kitchen but they are in my mind very bathroom like. Im not sure how slippery they are as we have rugs in the bathroom. Porcelain is noticeably harder than the ceramic it replaced - I dropped a bottle of nail polish on the new tiles and it broke whereas I did that many times before on the old ceramic and the bottle never broke. Also the person cutting the tiles had trouble cutting them with a tile saw designed for ceramic so you probably need a blade for porcelain. If you want a luxurious rich feel for a bathroom and like marble then these tiles are recommended.

I used the 12x24 tile for our downstairs bathroom remodel. Installed it myself. It is fragile but beautiful. Ordered it online and picked up at the store
