Does this tile need sealing. I have installed this already and there are some tiles with a shiny finish and all others are dull.

Answer:
I have tried the grout haze remover, after applying it, it seems to work and remove the greyish color but once I wipe that haze remover off, it dries back to the same grey color. I'm not sure there are any types of cleaner or sealer to use on these tiles

I am considering doing a bathroom floor using your MS International Redwood Mahogany 6" x 24" Glazed Porcelain Floor and Wall tile. Can you share any information about grouting? Is it just like grouting with regular tile? How do you grout to make it look like a real wood floor? My floor area is 8' x 5'.

Thank you for your question. It is recommended that a professional installer be consulted for determining the suitability/maintainability/installation of the item for this particular installation. In general, a 1/8 inch grout line is recommended for this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great!!! I placed this tile in my walk-in closet and bed and it looks so real. The color is beautiful that now I'm wishing I had done my bathroom as well. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, very realistic Tile looks fantastic -- very realistic. I have gotten a lot of compliments, and can't believe it's actually tile. The composition of the various tiles was different than I'm used to, in that there weren't just four variations to work with. It appears that there's one giant wood grain pattern and the tiles are randomly cut from that pattern. Meaning, the same knot won't be in the same place on each tile with that knot. That can be good for providing diversity, but can be bad when trying to sort them to ensure you're not getting similar tiles near each other. Also, some boxes had many tiles from the same area of the pattern, while others were more diverse. We tiled two different rooms at the same time, so we were able to mix and match tiles from a few boxes at a time with no issue. With a smaller area, you might hit a box that isn't very diverse and not be as happy. We used 3/16 spacers and charcoal grout and it looks great. May 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Tile looks great, almost like the real wood floors easy to install, I recommend to use 1/16 spacers to give it a better look without the big grouted lines, also mix few boxes so it gets a different patron just like you do with hardwood. September 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty, but uneven The tile is very pretty and looks like real wood; however, some of the tiles are different thicknesses so there are some tiles that stand taller than others and the floor is not smooth. Other wise we are pleased with the purchase. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Turned out great! We used this tile to create a rich pattern in our formal dining/ office. I saw the tile pattern in a high end setting and wanted to bring it home. One issue I had with the design was the thickness of the wood tiles versus the thickness I could find in readily available 12 x 12 tiles. Once we found a suitable 12x 12 tile we got busy. My husband liked the sturdiness of the tile. He thought it cut well. I'm sad because review doesn't let me upload a picture of the wood tile floor installed July 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for a wood floor look in high traffic or high sun areas We purchased this product for a log home. Much of the home has wood flooring but the great room (18x26) was carpet which had faded heavily in areas exposed to the steady sun from the floor to ceiling windows. As this room is high traffic, opens to the deck (lots of mountain snow-Montana) creating some opportunity for wet floors, and has a fireplace which would require some offset from a wood floor or risk discoloration, we chose this product. The edges of the tile are smooth and finished, so we were able to lay the tile butted together without grout lines. While it would never stand up to scrutiny as a wood floor, it is a close enough mimic that in photos people assume it is an extension of the wood flooring elsewhere in the home. November 6, 2013
