PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Home Depot has the incorrect specs for this tile. They have it listed as a PEI-4. I checked the manufacturer's website and it's actually listed as a PEI-3. I purchased a sample of this tile and also another rated PEI-4 and tested them both at home. I used a medium grit sandpaper and rubbed both with medium pressure. The finish on this tile immediately showed wear and rubbed off much easier than the other tile which showed very little wear. That's really unfortunate because I really like the color, pattern, and price of this tile but it's simply to soft for my application.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cosully Best hardwood alternative everrr
Everyone was skeptical about this flooring and worried the tiles would break easily and cause my home to be cold. My tile guys just finished laying the tile and grout (Sable Brown #95) and it looks awesome!!! So glad I went with my gut feeling on this. I ran the tile throughout my whole first floor (kitchen and living room). I would definitely recommend this tile. I have pets and a lot of traffic on the first floor and now I dont have to worry about scratches and my floor getting ruined! Very happy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Looks like wood-Perfect for kitchen
Best of both worlds - durable as tile, looks like wood. Perfect for the kitchen!
I did not like tile floors - until this one (I don't like the shininess, square patterns, or grout lines). I've never had tile prior to this, so I did have to get used to the "hardness" of the floor, but it's worth it for the durability since it's in the kitchen.
The variation in the tiles make it look just like wood. People think it is wood until they touch it. This color pattern HIDES EVERYTHING - dog hair, dirt, food crumbs, all of it. I can't see any of it until I start sweeping, or feel it on my bare feet. :)
I used 6x24 tiles. The tiles are thicker (higher, deeper?) than other tile floor pieces I was considering. We did it ourselves, so we didn't do a grout line. This really makes it look like a wood plank floor. We plan to rub in however much grout we can to help seal the floor and hopefully give longer durability. Grout = un-sanded, Summer Wheat (#45).

This look beautiful, repalced existing hardwood with this as my dogs scratched the wood floors. My contractor was a questionable about my choice but as he said "The more I layed it down the more I liked it", and is now using pictures of my home for his portfolio.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DenverNative Used Flooring Tile for Wall Application instead
The porcelain tiles are a great option for heavily traveled areas (mud rooms, kitchens, family rooms, etc), but we decided that they would make a very nice, rustic yet refined look for our basement entertainment bar. We used 1/8" tile spacers with a gray grout color. Turned out fantastic. Also used 1/4" cement board behind the tiles for proper adhesion (bc these are pretty thick tiles - 5/8" - for a wall application). Able to finish the entire job (30 SF) in approx. 48 hours.

I hired this job out. My installer thought it was the best quality tile he's seen in awhile. On another job site (via Home Depot) he said most of the tiles the home-owner selected were bowed. I ordered 126 boxes and so far no bowing, only 2 broken ones, and a few with a small chip. The job isn't completed yet, so I can't vouch for all the boxes, but so far I've been impressed with the so few tile problems.
It looks WAY better than I was expecting and I was expecting it to look great, but it looks AMAZING. Such an improvement in style, flow, and overall feeling from my previous tile/carpet/linoleum flooring. This tile has a lot of variety in it. It's a lighter tile, with dark grain. There are some tiles with blue-grey shading and all contain tans. At first I was thinking of a darker tile, but I have dark furniture and thought it would be too much. Ironically I have a room that has very light color furniture as well. My kitchen cabinets are light honey colored and this tile was the best to match all of the above. One of my tile guys mentioned it was a very "busy" pattern compared to other wood-look tiles he had installed, but liked the quality and the look. The other tile guy also said he really liked it too and hadn't seen this tile installed before and was going to have his wife look at it for his house.
The tile was laid on a concrete slab using 1/8 spacers (I had to sign off on that) and "Fawn" Sanded Grout (sku# 253-635). Between the variety in the pattern, how well it goes with my décor, and comments about ease of install/quality from my installers I would absolutely recommend this product.
