Be sure to use a dark grout that will fill in even the thinnest grout lines so as to hide any gaps that would reveal the color of the underlying mastic used to lay the tile. By using a dark chocolate brown, for instance, the tiles will more closely resemble actual tightly fitting wood floor planks. Don't choose a grout that is ighter in shade or of a different color than the tiles themselves; otherwise any slight mistakes you may have made while installing the tile (slight irregularities in tile level from one tile to the next, gaps between tiles, etc.) will be more easily revealed rather than concealed. Also make sure the grout is the correct type that is recommended for the type of tile used (ceramic, porcelain, stone, etc). Read Less

Answer:
This is the only issue we ran into. In the store they finished with a grout that made the tiles blend together without an appearance of a line, but they didn't carry that in a sanded grout. We ended up going with the tube, which is a little more expensive, but it looks perfect.

I thought the same thing. The black grout I used made it look exactly like wood. I used a very small space, about 1/4 inch. See pictures

Hi ula1313,
I'd recommend to use the smallest width of grout available 1/16" to ensure the tiles are filled in between them.
You can use a dark or similarly colored grout to help blend in the final look of the tiles.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great wood look! We wanted a wood like tile for our antique white cabinets which have a brown glaze in certain parts. This was perfect! We went with the darkest shade, the Oak and it really compliments the cabinets and granite. We plan on installing MSI chiaro tumbled stone backsplash in 3x6 to complete the look. Really recommend this tile! April 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome flooring The flooring is just want we wanted to improve the rooms in our home. The contractors had it down in no time flat and it is beautiful. Our home floors look like we have stepped into a new house. The only issue we had was when the flooring was delivered there were several broken tile. We still had enough; however, care does need to be taken when delivered. We ordered online rather than going to the local store and that was our mistake as I thought as much as we were purchasing it needed to be done online. We have not moved all our furniture back into the rooms yet but the picture attached only shows the livingroom. December 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New pictures of the floor Sending a few new pictures since it has been finished. December 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Elegant The only flaw is some pieces are very of tone...you should separate dark from light tones to have a better looking layout. October 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and was easy! Product was excellent.. however many of the boxes had more than usual broken pieces in them, I'd say at lease 25% of my 15 boxes were broke, but I was able to use all the broken pieces for the ends so it all works out. July 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking tile created a great project It really created a beautiful floor. It ships in boxes filled with foam around the boxed product. I ordered more and the last two shipped with the tile NOT boxed inside the foam. In each case they had shifted inside the foam and had a couple minor scratches and also 3 chipped. Other than how they ship I would recommend them as a top notch tile. February 17, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent product Good overall but it chips relatively easy! However it is sturdy against scratches! So good price and good look! Go the darkest grout possible! November 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HD Online hit a homer. Pun intended, but yes they hit it out of the park. Ordered online for a house 235 miles from where I live, over 5300 pounds of tile delivered in the garage for a $55. charge. Any broken take to local store for refund, only one broken tile in 1300. And the best part is they were 20 cents a foot less online than in the store....Build direct dotcom. was over 600 for delivery. Very good tile quality. marked ease of install as poor because hey it's tile.....lot of work but worth it. May 14, 2014
