More expensive than many other pans; but definitely worth the money. This is hard molded material, not flimsy plastic like most. Removeable front to more easily get the washer in. Easy to install. If you purchase this pan, you'll never need to replace it.

This pan is thick and heavy duty used to place it under my washer that I did not know was leaking in the basement on a concrete floor. I did make a frame to pour self leveling concrete then I drilled into the concrete floor to attach the pan and silicon where I screwed the pan to the floor. Before my homedepot protection plan for my washer fixed my washer the pan would catch all the leaking water. If on a wood sub-floor I would recommend connecting a drain to it in case the washer leaks or someone over fills the wash making water come out.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bandit1170 Very well built pan, for whatever you put on it.
This pan is very heavy duty and structurally sound without any raised ridges inside the pan. It is very similar to the solid surface Swan wall panels I used for my shower walls. Thick, rigid and smooth inside, except for the recessed circle in the middle for a possible drain connection. Also has holes (not drilled all the way through, in case you don't want to use them) for securing the pan to the floor. Very well built. Would definitely purchase again, but I can't see why I would every need to, this thing is solid and should last a lifetime.
I had previously purchased a washing machine pan of a different brand and didn't realized that our washing machine tub was eating it until it melted and fused to the pan due to the friction of the high speed spin. We thought our brand new (3 month old) washing machine was broke. Luckily there was no permanent damage to the washing machine. That pan had raised ridges radiating from the center for structural support. They were ground flat by the washing machine.

Easy to install but need drill bit that is circular. They provided template. It's heavy and durable. But even when you remove the front lip for installing washer, still need to lift it. Doesn't slide in as easily led to believe.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DeeJayS This is a very well made product!
I was really excited when the pan came! It is so well made! I loved how the front can be removed and then replaced once you have your "washer" in place. My problem is that it said it was 30 x 32. I was counting on that whole size. I wanted to use it under my upright freezer to protect my floors when the power goes out and things defrost. 30 x 32 would have worked great except that number was including the lip all the way around the pan. This made is so it will not work for me. I needed the full 32 x 30 for my freezer. I will be returning this item not because of the quality but because of the usable size.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Brendan Good product, too bad about the size
The pan is well made, sturdy fiberglass, and the removable threshold is very convenient. The major downside is the dimensions fit most washers terribly. It is 32" wide, leaving a huge 2.5" gap on either side of my washer. Unfortunately it is only 30" deep on the outside (more like 28" inside), which is not really deep enough to enclose the machine, and definitely not deep enough to reach the back wall - so it won't help much if a hose breaks back there.

Great replacement for a cheap, cracked pan. I first bought a lower priced pan in the store but couldn't use it because it had raised ribs. My floor drain is off center and that would have meant cutting through the ribs creating an escape path for the water. I put that under my steam dryer and bought this Mustee pan since it appears flat in the picture. This is not cheap but as soon as you feel how heavy this is you will know where that money went. You can't see it in the picture but the center is actually sculpted to make it easier to cut and install a drain. This worried me at first but luckily my drain is off center just enough for this not to be an issue. We cut a three inch hole for the drain using a hole saw. It took a while as this is one tough pan. I also used the included screws to attach the pan to the floor. Cement anchors are provided in case you need them. If you zoom in you will see there are premolded divots for the screws. This makes drilling easy. The screws fit nice and tight but to be safe I also used silicon caulking. The removable threshold made putting the washer onto the pan much easier. The pan comes with a seal that gets placed into the track but if it makes you feel better you can also add some silicon. The instructions say to install the removable edge in the front but for my small laundry room and Samsung top load HE washer it was necessary to turn the pan 90 degrees.
