I ordered the sink online because it was the only decently priced utility sink I could find in a non-white color. The sink arrived with a small crack in one corner. HD representative told me the best thing to do is order another one and take this one back to the store for a refund. So I ordered a second one. This one arrived with a full on crack down one entire side. The sink is shipped in a flimsy cardboard box with no internal reinforcement or Styrofoam padding inside. The sink is not available in store. It's too bad because the sink is beautiful, well designed, and seems to be of high quality. It's too bad they didn't hire a packaging expert to figure out how to ship it without breaking.
5 stars for aesthetics and design
0 stars for shipping and packaging
Not sure about installation because I didn't install it. Now I need to decide if I want to gamble on a third one. The bummer thing is I already cut a hole in my countertop to fit this sink!

The sink looked very nice online, a change from the normal white utility sink. I was putting in grey cabinets, and this finished the room lovely.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Gatekpr70 2 of 2 received had visible damage.
Ordered 1 which came damaged in undamaged container. Home Depot CS was excellent and ordered a replacement for me. HD CS tried to get the manufacturer to ship the item direct to me to reduce shipping time but they refused. Replacement also arrived damaged (undamaged box) but was fixable with some liquid nails so in frustration I decided to keep. Installation was fair. Would have been much easier if they had supplied paper template but the fact the manufacturer can't get the item to the consumer undamaged likely means convenience is not their top priority.

Good product for the money. Need to be careful not to overtighten the mounting screws. It doesn't take much to create stress cracks while tightening. Due to tight space I tightened by feel and overtightened the nuts. Fortunately only one stud showed a stress crack on the finished side. Wife really likes the recessed shelf.

Bought this to replace a 22 year old plastic sink in utility room. The side shelf is very useful for sponges and paint brushes and the bottom plug holds water tight, even for an overnight laundry soak. Drilling the hole for the faucet was not an issue. It gives you placement options and the possibility of a 3 or 1 hole faucet. I wish I had updated years ago. I ultimately had the sink shipped to the store because it took 3 tries to get one without any chips or cracks in the sink. I would open it, inspect it at the store, then send it back, without having to hassle with lugging it back to the store for a return.

I replaced the original (25 year old) laundry sink that came with the house with this sink. Compared to the original sink this one is a lot nicer. Since the original sink opening was 22x25 and this sink was self-rimming, it dropped right in without any additional cutting required. Vector makes a slightly longer sink with a bigger built in drip tray, but additional cutting would have been required to install in the same location. I chipped the faucet lip when I drilled the faucet hole. Should have read the instructions first. They tell you to start the faucet hole from the back, then flip the sink over to finish the hole from the front. That procedure would have prevented the chipping. Did not matter, since the faucet I used covered the small chip I made. The faucet is a Grohe bathroom sink faucet. Seems kind of big for a bathroom sink, but it has a nice feature that works will in my laundry room. The spigot swivels from side to side about 60 degrees.
The quality could be a little bit better, but consider the price. I would have paid more for a better quality sink, but I could not find one with the same features of this sink. I like the small side drip tray and the way the faucet is mounted so water splash drips into the sink. I also bought the Vector drip rack that pairs with this sink. Not pictured in the photo I submitted.
I had to return the first sink because it was cracked. I'm not sure if this was because of a quality issue during manufacturing or mishandling by UPS. I just took it back to my local Home Depot and they accepted the return with no issue. I thought I was going to have the same problem with the second sink because when it came the box was crushed on one side. However, the sink was fine. I think the manufacture should either improve the box packaging or thickness of the sink to prevent damage during delivery.
Overall I'm very happy with this sink. Big improvement from the old original sink.
