8000 lbs. x 48 in. Jackall Jack Boxed with Sleeve is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from 8000# huh? Broke and bent lifting under 5000. I grew up in the country using hi-lift brand jacks, and bought this one to lift a shipping container (5,000 gross). The fitment of the carriage to the rail is bad. There is 1/8" of slop that causes the handle to need to be pushed down way beyond horizontal to engage. This got worse as the handle bent (see photo), and makes the first 8 inches of the jack useless. Second, as the handle bent, I could see stress cracks forming along the weld. Third, the mechanism wouldn't engage / disengage freely. I'd have to poke it with a screw driver to get it disengage. Fourth, if this jack could lift 8,000 before exploding, you'd need to be 400-500 lbs to do it. Too many poorly fitting parts of inferior quality. You'll just have to consider where your hands/face/limbs will be if and when it fails. Bottom line, it aint your daddy's jack. It will get your jeep off a rock, but won't perform as advertised. Mine is going back...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for many jobs Easy to set up . Picked up my '77 pickup without any trouble and allowed me to put jackstands under it. I know it will do a fine job on pulling fence post when I move my wooden fence in the Fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real heavy duty jack Needed something to help lift a piano onto a plywood sheet. This jack was way more than sufficient. It's a really HEAVY DUTY piece of equipment, and a real bargain at its price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from its a farm jack Slow but powerful, not as well built as an older model. If you need a high lift jack, this is a good one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty Bought it to lift my commercial mower to change and sharpen blades. Lifts with ease. Fully assembled and ready to use. Fast home delivery. Made my tasks very easy. Remember though, as with any lift be sure to use jack stands for safety.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a charm. Great jack. In combination with a heavy chain, I used this jack to pull up concrete footers from broken and rotted fence posts. It was surprising how easily they came up! New posts are in the ground now, with new concrete footers. My fence is repaired thanks to the help of this handy tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maasdam Jackall A big, clunky jack - just what I wanted. I bought it to use on hunting trips. So far I have tested it by pulling 4x4 fenceposts out of the clay soil in Houston. The jack seems well built and works as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jack I ordered this jack to lift up a large garden shed that had sunk into the ground and place it on cinder blocks. The jack worked perfectly and lifted each corner of the shed easily and held it up while I inserted the blocks under the cross beams of the floor. It then gently lowered the load back down. I was able to get much closer to the wall of the shed with this jack than I would have been able to with a comparably priced bottle jack.
