Answer:
Yes they can be removed very easily. Just grab it by one end and pull. If any glue residue is present , take comet or any bathroom cleaner and rub gently with a sponge.

Customer Reviews

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Useless these stickers are absolutely useless. PERHAPS I got a bad batch, but upon opening, immediately noticed the backing paper was wrinkled up underneath the treads. Individual treads are supposed to be pulled off backing wax paper, then each still has one more layer of paper that is supposed to be pulled away to expose adhesive surface immediately before application. Problem is that this secondary individual layer on all 8 of the 12 pieces I tried was completely sticky and tacky in itself, would not separate easily from tread, and would tear easily when trying to do so. Result was consistently creating a sticky mess of a tread with only partial clearance of second layer of backing paper. And then the exposed portions of the sticky side of treads themselves were less sticky than the secondary paper layer. It was impossible to apply these properly. Either this product is junk from the beginning, or perhaps my package got left in hot conditions for too long and the adhesive/paper layers melted and fused too much. package cost $4. I will be taking them back to Home Depot for a refund, but honestly, the frequency with which products fail to perform as promised from Home Depot (Lowes, Walmart, etc, are no better).... is WAY too much. $4 isn't a whole lot, but the amount of time and driving wasted with such junk is getting beyond forgivable. Extremely fed up. July 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Total garbage Wrinkled and bubbled in the package, protective layer would not come off to expose the adhesive. I tried to install one, but when that wouldn't work, they were returned for a refund. July 30, 2016
