Answer:
Uplug it. There is no ON/OFF switch but you can turn the temperature up the maximum in the temp control which should effectively shut it off most of the time.

Just bought today and sitting in my office. It is does make a lot of noise. It may not bother some but I'm finding it very annoying. It seems to be working well so far and keeping beverages very cold. I have it set on 6 (warns not to leave on 7 so not sure why that even a setting). I may turn it down so it runs less, but if I cant keep my beverages cold I don't see the point.
Has anyone found a solution Read More

Answer:
Based on my experience I would not recommend it for a commercial application. They are very light duty and would not hold up to the demands of a commercial application. Buy something else of higher quality and that is built better than these. Had I known what I know now I would not have bought them for my house.

I think it is probably 'okay' for your restaurant - it seems like it is built pretty well and looks good. The big problem though is with reliability. Mine lasted 2 years and 3 months and suddenly stopped working (compressor seizes up - gets very hot - stops working). Other people have written reviews on this forum who only owned it a year before it stopped working. Commercial versions of this are more expensive - but probably built more reliably. I am guessing that your cooler will be opened and closed a lot during your business hours which means it will have to work harder to stay cold than one that mostly sits in a person's house like mine did. I would recommend spending more money up front and buying yourself some more reliability. I hope that helps you in your decision. Read Less

Answer:
We generally recommend that you put the temperature setting at 4. Please note however, this will also vary on how many cans you have in the beverage cooler and how cool you prefer it to be at.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mini beverage fridge My old refridge died. I bought a new one. This one is slightly smaller. Good pricing. July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage Just died after about 2 years. Looks great with the interior light, but a waste of money. A refrigerator is such a simple appliance, and it should last ten years or more... July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only lasted about 5 months This small fridge looked good but only lasted a few months. It turns on but it doesn't get cold anymore. Terrible buy can't even find the manufacturer to fix it. June 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Diamond This product was fine the issue was it was too small for the opening, after buying 3 other beverage centers, all of which arrived with either a Freon leak or a shattered glass door. I ordered from a different manufacture. I returned the item and bought a better option the same day from Loews with no defects. I received less than fair customer service from the 1-800 number, only found obstacles not solutions June 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible waste of money just like everyone else..... after 15 months just died ..... tried ordering new part its impossible and to expensive .. $86 for new part. rather just throw it out .. Home Depot needs stop carrying this cheap import June 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Quality is lacking in their packaging. I had to go through 4 fridges to find two good ones. I had two of these fridges shipped to my door. They both arrived damaged. On one I was able to bend the door hinge tabs and it worked ok. The other had the top RH corner caved in completely like it got dropped from the top of a truck or fork lift. I returned the one fridge that had the corner caved in to the store. They had two new ones in stock so the associate processed the refund and gave me a new one. To load it into my SUV I took it out of the box it was then that I noticed it had all kinds of broken pieces stuffed in the back. It was the black plastic condensation tray (I think) that had been broken and then stuffed in there. I had to go back in and do another return and then inspected the last fridge they had and luckily it was a good one. So needless to say if you have a choice in brands, do your self a favor buy something else. Vissani/Magic Chef does not appear to take pride in their workmanship and especially the packing of their products. I had excellent customer service from the Home Depot store which was the only thing that was positive about the experience. I wasted a lot of valuable time dealing with this situation so this appliance brand will never see another penny of mine. It is junk! June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Like everyone else, our fridge died after less than 2 years. The company wasn't at all helpful since it was after the 1 year warranty. Home Depot needs to stop carrying this defective piece of junk. What a waste of $249. So disappointing! May 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not cool enouth I had it for a year and a half. It continually runs, never shuts off. The lowest temperate it will go now id 40F It was cheaper than the rest and you are getting what you pay for. I recommend spending a little more money and getting a better one. May 1, 2016
