We need something in our office to keep lunches and creamer cold. There are 3 of us. We were going to buy a compact refrigerator, but felt that the freezer was a waste of space. This unit is the same size, but has much more refrigeration space.

The woman told me that these have a range temp of 5 degrees so "this is doing exactly as it is supposed to) was my answer I received. I was told that this unit should NOT be looked as a refrigerator, only a COOLER - read between the lines and you'll realize it won't make your drinks ice cold.

This fridge looks great but is an absolute joke for keeping things cold. Do not believe the people that say it gets as cold as a normal fridge. We had it installed as part of a custom bar project and goal was to keep beer and other beverages cold. Now, I am scouring the internet to find another fridge that is the same width (because we built custom at 17" width) and can keep beer cold.

Hi J, I’m Blake from Home Depot’s Online community. This beverage cooler would be great in your dining room. Be aware that the cooling mechanism in this unit is compressor based and will make some noise as it cycles on and off. Very high-end beverage coolers use thermoelectric cooling devices which are silent while in use however the difference in price is significant.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What is Home Depot thinking??? I should have read the reviews on this one. Compressor lasted maybe 12 hours and died. Magic Chef said all they could do was send out a repair person and would not replace. Why would Home Depot continue to sell such an inferior product and from a company with terrible customer service? This thing is going back!! September 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect size This beverage fridge is the perfect size for our kitchen remodel. Looks sleek and matches other stainless appliances. Had a small ding in the metal if the door but we reversed the door so it won't show. Home Depot store gave us a discount due to the damage - they also would have swapped it out but didn't have another one in stock. Also, item was cheaper in the store than in line so had to have the manager refund the difference. September 6, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by junk cooler lasted about 2 1/2 years and died. compressor has 5 year warranty but no labor coverage. discussed with repairman and will cost almost 300 in labor to fix. do not buy August 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Came smashed Had the same fridge for my outside bar and it lasted 3 years. Purchased another one a month ago because it fits my space perfectly. The delivery guy was nice enough to unwrap and put in the designated space. He was on the smashed side and I was in the other side sliding it in. Of course he didn't point out the damage. Guess he didn't want to put it back on the truck. I pulled it out to fix the door that was on crooked and saw the damage. Let's hope Home Depot customer service will make it right. August 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not cold enough!!! looks good. thats about it. Beer needs to be colder. built a custom bar to wrap this fridge perfectly and now regret this buy. cant find another with the same exact size to fit. guess im stuck with warm beer. March 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great This fridge works great. I was hesitant to get it because of some of the bad reviews, but I have not had any trouble with it. It's very quiet, and it does not run often. I have it set as low as it will go, and the temp says 45. I'd say that's pretty close. It works great for wine and sodas, but I wouldn't want it for a beer fridge. This is the cheapest under-counter fridge I could find, and I'm glad I made the purchase. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good for the price Very nice looking beverage cooler. Noisy when cooling. I don't always feel it's as cold as my previous unit when set at similar settings. July 25, 2016
