The product has a minimum setting of 39° F. The temperature of the unit will deviate up to 5°F above the set temperature, so if it is set at 39°, it will range from 39°-44°.

You can try removing the shelf but no, other than that, you really can't. I end up wedging the bottles pretty firmly in there or taking one of the shelves out.

Only by removing a shelf above! Sometimes the lower area will accommodate a slightly larger diameter bottle. Not really designed with reconfiguration in mind!

Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds. You will hear a beep. Then use the up and down arrows to set the temperature. Press SET again. If you do not press the SET button again, it should still take your setting after 10 seconds.

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 156 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend this cooler. For some reason the door stopped completely sealing/closing. Then condensation would build and it would leak water all over the floor. I propped the door closed until I could manage to return it. Also a couple of the shelves, bottles wouldn't fit, they had to be forced in. So what seemed like such a good buy, is being returned today. August 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by So-So Wine Cooler This Magic Chef wine cooler is a replacement for an older Magic Chef one that stopped cooling. One of the wire shelves does not fit properly. It does not hold the set temperature despite running a lot more than the older one it replaced. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it I have always wanted a wine refrigerator and just didn't get around purchasing one. I finally did during Home Depots Fourth of July appliance sale. I replaced all of my appliances and with the savings got this refrigerator too. It is just the right size for my house and the racks can be moved around so you can store beer too. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product This was a replacement Magic Chef 50 bottle cooler that was 6 yrs old and compressor had stopped working. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product fot the money The product is fine, but the delivery was bad. First time it came dented, second time the handle was dented. We didn't bother returning it. My husband fixed the handle August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Short-lived! Not worth the money Only lasted two years and three months! Although the warranty still covers the parts (about $300), the labor and freon will cost $350, so we're just going with a new unit. Not worth it! August 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good wine / beverage cooler We've had this for two months now so I can't speak to the long-term reliability of the product. Quiet, ready to build in if you want, looks high-end with the glass door and dark interior with blue back lighting, and the wire shelves are great. This brand had three different models in the store but this one was rated the highest by other consumers and the shelving was far superior. The wire shelves are unique in that they are meant to lay bottles end to end for efficiency. We use for wine and other family beverages. And at this price point, I am not going to be angry if it quits working in 5 years. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High Quality I oiginally purchased this wine cooler about 15 years ago and it worked like a charm for that period of time before it pooped out. I purchased a new unit and expect to get another 15 years of performance out of it. This is a good result or the price, July 27, 2016
