Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Surprising price I have carried one of these lights for years, starting out in the fire service during investigations. I remember paying $12.95 for the Krypton lamps alone, and another $40 for the light, without batteries. The light, Duracell Batteries, and 2 Krypton lights for $20? Don't have to tell me twice! Bought one for myself, and one for work, then thought about it and bought another for myself, two for another employee, and seven for the company. These are worth their weight in gold in an emergency. They are practically unbreakable and in a pinch can be used for a defensive weapon. The best thing about them? They just WORK! March 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great flash light I put a led bulb in it right away and love it even more August 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by a bit temperamental I can only give the flashlight 3 stars. It seems a bit temperamental. The slightest "bump" and the bulb will stop working. If you shake the light, it seems to work again. Sure doesn't the MAG-LITE's of old. Those sseemed indestructible. July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best handheld flashlight This is a awesome flashlight. First of all its american made, which is very hard to find now a days. I have several of these kind of flashlight but this is the first one I bought that can really zoom in to a spotlight all my other models always have a dark spot in the middle of the zoom spotlight, i'm hoping they fixed this on all there models. Rated 5 out of 5 by 4 D cell Maglite Maglites are the best value in flashlights. My 4 cell was dropped from a 45 ft bridge onto a roadside and worked perfectly! not that I recomend you do that, but it is tough enough you can. I have three of these flashlights that I use for work and love them because of the amount of light they put out and the ability to ajust from a flood pattern to a spot pattern. the only downside to these flashlights is the battery life. But they make up for it in brightness. There are also kits avalible online if you do a google search for LED bulb conversions for them. These are about 80% as bright, but last three times as long on a set of batteries! on addition to that, they will last 100,000 hours before they burn out and are vertualy indistructable. You would crack the maglite in half a million times before you broke the LED bulb replacement inside, unlike the regular bulbs that will get bent or break the filiment inside. Overall, I would definetly recoment this flashlite if you were thinking of buying it. August 3, 2006
