Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Punisherrobb best flashlight for the money made in USA!!!
My flashlight lens melted, the case is dented and scratched everywhere, I have dropped from 35 feet to concrete and dropped numerous other times. Completely beaten to where it should not work and looks like it does not work, but still works perfectly!!!!

Quit after 6 months. Maglite would fix it for free if I pay shipping both ways. No thanks, I'll just buy a different brand. Won't buy another Maglite.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Geofftodds Bright strong little Mag
I've had mine for about 3 years now. It's such a durable and super bright light. I purchased it from Home Depot when it was $60.00
I need to buy a backup one at this price.

super bright little flashlight. Used it for hunting and it was almost as bright as my cordless spotlight. Friends could not believe how bright this small flashlight is.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TroupMike big beam small flashlight
Can't believe the beam this little light throws out. On the dim setting it's brighter than any regular flashlight. I rated the Quality "Good" instead of "Excellent". The batteries that came with one of the two lights I purchased had dead batteries.

Wow, stunningly bright!
This thing throws off more light than my Mag 6 D-Cell light. Bright solid straight beam, just incredible for something this fits in your palm.
The package on the website say's it's 104 lumens. I picked mine up at the local store and the package say's 139 lumens. I suspect the picture on the website is an old picture.
I love this light, so much so that I think I would like to have the XL-200. If they carried that one, I would have purchased that one. Oh well, I still highly recommend this product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer My favorite Maglite yet
I've owned several Maglites in the past, including minis and the fullsizers. I've tried other flashlights, mostly LEDs, but they were all basically worthless. Most of them always started to glitch after very little use (although in all fairness my job is very rough on lights).
I've always ended up returning to the less bright, but definitely more rugged Maglites. I considered the LED mini, but I found this in the process. I've been completely satisfied so far. Outstanding brightness, long battery life, extremely small and light, and the beam is nice and solid.
If i had to choose a con, I'd say it's the use of AAA batteries vs AAs. But that would not prevent me from buying another in the future.
I highly recommend this flashlight to anyone. It is well worth $30.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MDNY102 Good move by Maglite
Great light at this price point. Excellent construction, beam pattern, brightness, and run time. This light moves Mag into the 21st century, and hope to see more innovations going foward. Note that this light, like all Maglites, is made in the USA, also a major positive. In summary, you can buy somewhat better small LED lights, but if you want one that's made in the USA, you'll pay 2 to 3 times as much as what you'll pay for the Maglite XL 50. Highly recommended.
