Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great sander. This is the second one I have purchased . The first one went to my daughter . Like this sander so well I bought two. One for myself and one for my daughter . October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hand Sander for the $ I love this sander! It had been over 20 years since using a hand sander in high school wood shop class. They have definitely improved since then. Seems to orbit at a higher RPM and is very powerful for its size. Loading the paper is literally a snap. Dust collection bag helps too. It is worth waiting for online delivery since you essentially get the free case. October 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to handle, awesome performance This sander does an awesome job and it is very easy to work with. The handle size is not as bulky as other sanders making it much easier to maneuver! January 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dramatic improvement over the prior model I bought this to replace an older Makita Palm sander that had just worn itself out. Wow! What a difference - this one is quieter, smoother, with far less vibration coming back up through your hand. It's a really nice product. October 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this sander... Easy to use and the dust catcher works great and helps make clean up easy. It's very easy to change the sandpaper. It was reasonable priced and very easy to operate. Small enough to get into the smaller places when refinishing furniture. June 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good buy I found the Makita finishing sander lighter than the DeWalt sander and for that reason I went for it. I also chose it because my contractor neighbor has the Makita sander and I have use a few times and really liked it. Also my neighbor has been using his for years and it's still going strong which is another reason I picked it. The sander makes installing 1/4 sheets easy with the way it's designed. It's a great little sander for most of my needs. And I got the sander with the case for the same price as without. I don't use this daily so having the case is good for storing it when I'm not using it. December 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent tool for a beginner First - I'm a girl. Second - I am a complete beginner. My past experiences with sanding has been with sanding sponge/blocks. This is one of the best tools I have ever purchased. Extremely easy to use and load with sand paper. Light weight - used easily on a vertical surface. Fast! Excellent value - delivered to my door for free. I only need this for small sanding projects like furniture/vanity refinishing for painting and a wall backsplash area for prep for tile. Worked beautifully! March 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Couldn't be happier!?!? I am a beginner when it comes to wood working and buying tools so I researched this a lot. My first use was a plywood box I was building to use as a step stool and storage for my daughter. I had done some sanding by hand when I decided to buy this. After sanding by hand and than using this sander the dust collection was a huge improvement. The tool felt sure in my hands and didn't seem to pull where I didn't want it but I also didn't need to apply a lot of pressure. Noise was easily tolerable but I was using it in my garage. If someone was using it in a house it may be a little loud. Loading sandpaper took a few moments to get used to how it works. There may be better clips and I know there are worse. I didn't feel like the paper would come off. You want to buy on line cause you get the case. In the stores they have a tool only for the same price. I am right handed, I don't know if a left handed person would have problems with this. Overall I gave this a 4 because I feel the clips for holding the paper could be better but they should not stop someone from buying this product. I expect to be using this product for years. I gave the quality a 4 because until I have beaten on it for a while I can't speak for it's longevity. Value, was good because it's around what I expected and you got a case. November 21, 2015
