What accessories come with this product and do you sell the SDS-Max bits on line?

I need a Makita T-02593 floor scraper to use with this product.
Asked by: TP11
There is a tube of grease and a rag. There are no SDS max bits in the box/case. Not all of the Home Depot stores offer this model for sale nor do they all offer the SDS Max bits. I did some research after renting this model at our local Home Depot. I had to drive an hour away to purchase this model where they also had the SDS max bits in stock.

I notice there are some items that cannot be shipped to hawaii. What if a customer wants to pay for the shipping. How would I do that?

Makita 20# demolition hammer model# hm1203c.

Go to the special order or online order desk in the Home Depot store itself. They can order it and it will arrive with the next shipment from the mainland. No shipping charges, pick up at the store when it arrives.

Is there a long wood/chisel bit available for this tool that would make tree stump removal easier? After digging around the stump and cutting the roots,i make vertical cuts with a chain saw or sawzall as a starter, then split the stump into a few pieces with a mawl or large digging bar, then break the loose pieces out with a sledge.I'm not looking to remove the whole stump, just get it below ground level and bury what's left. This technique works great and have removed dozens this way but i'm no kid anymore and looking for a way to make it less labor intensive.I don't own a bulldozer or backhoe and using a stump grinder or trying to burn them out is a useless waste of time.

Although it takes some muscle and lots of stamina, with the proper SDS chisel bits, it WILL get the job done. My better half and I were able to remove about a half inch layer of pea gravel off of the pool deck with not much effort. She used a hammer and hand chisel because she is stubborn in that way and I was able to have my fun with the Makita machine. It is a very durable demolition hammer machine.

Bought the hammer to demo an old tile shower after doing some initial work with a small sledgehammer and chisel - the Makita was much more effective not to mention faster. It is not light but otherwise easy enough to use and small enough to get into some relatively tight places..

I've never written a review before but if you have hard ground and rocks...well this thing rocks! Before buying this it took us at least 30 minutes with a crowbar, shovel, hands and many curse words to dig a foot wide/deep hole just to plant a small tree. Bought this and a 4" tool - took 3 minutes per hole ... by myself !! Its fairly light and quiet, wish we'd got this 6 months ago before planting 100 other plants and losing days of digging we'll never get back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Beast Will Chew Through Anything With Ease!!! In my backyard patio, the flooring is just poured concrete laid down when we had our home built a few years ago. We wanted to go out of the "standard" within our neighborhood, and lay down some pavers giving the appearance of some class. The problem was how do I even start to get rid of the concrete, and what can I use to break it all up into manageable pieces? I stopped at the thought of sledgehammers and cold chisel's. Along came this beast! At 11 pounds, it's manageable to use, unlike other handheld demolition hammers weighing upwards of 20 pounds. Using an 11 pound hammer is just about right. When I went to Home Depot, I bought both a chisel point, and a chisel bit to use. When I got home I found the bits didn't fit, even though their SDS bits. Come to find out, there are 3 different styles of SDS bits available...SDS, SDS-Plus, and SDS-Max! Once I returned my purchase and bought the same bits, but SDS-Max ones, they fit within the hammer just fine. Inserting the bit was effortless, and I simply love the fact that I have 12 different angles I can turn the bit at. This comes in handy when using a chisel, or scraper. The hammer has a soft start feature which is great. Having this allows you to ensure when at the selected speed, it's not jumping all over the place. You can keep the bit on target easier before it's up to speed. The thumb-wheel adjustable speed dial is a great feature. Not everything you may be removing is constructed of hard concrete. Using a lower speed with a tile scraper will ensure more success in removing tiles in one piece, whereas on full speed, this thing will chew up your concrete effortlessly. Using this demolition hammer was a joy to use. I found that I wasn't "fighting" with the hammer the whole time I used it. This hammer also comes with an adjustable side handle. This handle is just as beefy as the hammer. It feels great in your hand, and assists in both balancing out the weight of the hammer, and assisting you in maneuvering the hammer around with a complete feeling of control. For what this hammer does, it really doesn't have an over abundance of vibration, and that's a good thing! I had my entire 15' x 15' concrete slab all busted up in about an hour. It took me longer to haul off the concrete pieces, than to bust it up. I don't even want to think about the time it would have taken had I resorted to sledge hammer and cold chisel. This beast was definitely the proper tool for the job at hand. With 8.4 ft. lbs. of impact energy, soft starting, and variable speed control, this demolition hammer is well worth the investment, let alone the time, and back busting labor it will save you in any demolition project you may have on your list. Highly recommended product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase This is by far the best demolition hammer I've purchased. It works flawlessly and has a lot of power. I like the feature that allows the user to increase or decrease the hammering blow. Very nice addition to my power tools.
