If Makita can supply a plunge saw, 55" guide rail, and plastic box for the saw for around $400, why does just a 118" guide rail cost almost $300?
Asked by: atlantarenovator
I have the same question???? This Pricepoint is way out of line. At the most, it should cause just slightly more than 2 55" guide rails

Will the guide work with a Grizzly

Will this track work with a Grizzly track saw? In search of a guide to cut full sheets of ply. The connector with two 55" guides is not a good solution.

We cannot recommend or guarantee the Makita 118 in. Guide Rail (194367-7) will work with another manufacturers tool.

As a 20+ year contractor, my main use is for cutting deck edges and deck board picture frames. I bought the 55" as well as a connector kit - it ended up just being easier to snap a chalk line and move the 118" rail than it was to connect the 2 Super smooth!!!
