PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Makita 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion battery charges 4x faster than comparable Ni-Cd batteries. The combination of Makita's rapid optimum charger (sold separately) communicates with the battery's built-in chip to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature; and has a built-in fan to cool the battery to produce more lifetime work. The battery takes only 15 minutes to recharge.
- 15-min charge time when used with Makita's Rapid Optimuim Charger (DC18RA)
- Battery resists self-discharge and remains ready for use even after long periods of storage
- Compatible with a variety of Makita 18-Volt power tools
- 16 contact terminals reduce power fluctuations in high-vibration work environments
