Yes, the Makita 18-Volt battery (BL1830) that fits on your 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw (BJR181Z) can be charged by the 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Optimum Automotive Charger (DC18SE). This Automotive Charger charges the battery in 60 minutes, as compared to the standard 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Rapid Optimum Charger (DC18RC), which fully charges the batter in 30 minutes.

This item does not come with its own battery, but accomodates the LXT battery you may have from other tools in the set. Recharge time is less than 1 hour.

This model does not come with a battery. If you wish to purchase a battery, the part # is BL1830. The re-charge time for this specific battery is 30 minutes. This battery is available on homedepot.com.

The XRJ02Z is an update in the model number from the BJR181Z. The XRJ02Z has Makita's Star Protection system which prevents the battery from overloading, over-discharging and over heating the tool.

The Makita XSH01Z 18-Volt X2 LXT Lithium-Ion 7-1/4 in. Cordless Circular Saw (Tool-Only) is a circular saw used for mostly cross-cutting, framing and ripping applications. The Makita XRJ02Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Tool-Only) is used mainly for demolition and rough cuts.
