4 in. Segmented Rim General Purpose Diamond Blade is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cut I used this cutting wheel on my right angle grinder to cut out the mortar for some bricks on my back steps where the stairway wall was being pushed in by the frost. I simply removed the mortar, pushed the cement block wall back in place, then filled the cells with re-rod and cement to hold the wall straight. Lastly, I re-mortared the bricks and the job was done.wall back in place, then

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well I recently used a Makita Turbo Rim blade and thought I'd get this time the 4 in. Segmented Rim General Purpose Diamond Blade. The Turbo Rim is unsegmented. The two blades cut the same with this segmented blade promising to run cooler. The segmented blade has a slightly slimmer profile without the ribbing on the edge like the other one. I used it with an angle grinder to go back over a red brick boarder in my garden. The unsegmented blade did a good job, got hot and this segmented one did too. I guess it wasn't enough of a test here, but the end result was the same. Both made quick work of cutting the red bricks cleanly. My conclusion, if you've got a big project the segmented blade will give more protection from heat build-up, but the other one will work, too. I like them both.
