I used this product in a large installation that required three 10 light kits. These multi-light kits save money compared with buying individual lights, wire and transformers. I did buy an additional 600 W transformer, 14 and 12 gauge wire to properly power everything and allow for additional lights in the future.
I suggest making a hole in hard ground with 3/4" EMT to avoid breaking the plastic stakes.
My design limited the voltage drop to 1.6 volts and the 10 W path lights were bright enough to space every 6 feet.

VOLTAGE DROP. do a google search. you can not daisy chain your lights and expect them to all be the same brightness. ALSO, they will not last. They will burn out, in less than 6 months.
I own a landscaping company and install professional quality landscape lighting. This is NOT that. 1 high quality landscape light will set you back at least one hundred each and a few hundred for the transformer. that does not include wiring, etc.
for my clients who run out of money before we get to install lighting, I recommend this set as a 'starter' set. Landscape lighting is amazing, definitely worth the cost. These are the best looking low cost set, UPGRADE to LED bulbs!
This product is more than value for money. What kind of light fixture could you possible get (indoor or out) for less than $20 each fixture.

I have had these lights installed for a little over a year. So far they have worked great. My only complaint is the cheap plastic stakes used to hold these into the ground. I believe you can source some metal stakes for this at around 2 dollars a stake. I knocked a star off for the added cost. As for the people who say they are having problems with it dimming down the line, They did not install the lights and transformer properly, they have too long of a run, I am sure a simple re-wiring would solve their issue. As with any project research is key, I took 20 minutes to research the different way you can wire landscape lighting and I have not had any problems.

I bought this kit 9-months ago and am very happy with the decision. Very easy to install and adds nice ambience. Definitely better than plastic and I didn't have any of the issues mentioned in other reviews about lights burning out fast. I've had to change two bulbs but only because the lights were knocked around by repair guys. Still it was a quick, easy, and cheap fix. My only suggestion is that you may want to consider a full line of 20-watt bulbs. The 10-watt bulbs don't throw off a lot of light (enough for me) but depending on how much illumination you're looking for, I'd suggest the 20-watt.
