I bought these two years ago. some of them are still working on the original batteries. They look very nice at my daylily bed beside the walk way. The complaint I have with these is that the plastic stem that screws into the bottom of the glass lens is poor quality and has broken on several of the lights... bummer! I tried gluing it with gorilla glue and that actually worked for a few months. Now get this: the lamps are still functional... lying in the dirt. very frustrating. I'd like to replace the broken ones but I only need three... for eighty bucks. that stinks.

I bought the same lights 2 years ago and the lens no longer comes in glass but is now made of clear plastic. One of the 8 lights from that purchase no longer worked, but when I called Malibu they mailed me a replacement head at no charge. The lights give a nice glow, considering there is only one battery. They are expensive though, at $80 for 8.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DmiaTX Poor light output, short charge, bad construction quality – do not buy
We have 3-year old lights bought in Sam’s Club and wanted to add more lights. I bought these more expensive lights because they claimed to have higher light output (6 Lumens) and better battery type (LiFePO4 ). These lights failed me. They are both significantly darker than my 3-year old lights and last for only 3 or 4 hours while my old lights go for about 6 hours.
The construction of the lights in not precise and they were hard to assembly (due to the diameter inconsistencies, it was hard to screw their heads on top of the stands). In two weeks a plastic ending broke off the stand while my wife were tending her flowers. The light glass is very brittle. I accidently dropped the light while trying to repair it and it broke into huge number of small sharp pieces.
Bottom line: for the money they cost, should be able to buy something much better

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Norama Big Bright Lights More than ONE LSD
I think I have more solar lights around the house than most people , and these big lights show off so much more light. I like them in dark areas of my yard especially in the winter when it gets dark so early. I have them hanging from trees and other creative places, and the big light allows me to look out and to be able to see what is out there. I do love them

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BBshoplover A convenient combination of aesthetics and function.
I had no trouble assembling these for my walkway so my fellow chorus members could see the way to my house at my holiday party. These lights are handsome and give off soft yet adequate lighting. Though instructions caution not to place them within 5 feet of each other or the quality would be compromised, I did, and there was none.

They look pretty in the daytime, but at night they're just tiny points of light. Certainly not enough to illuminate a walkway.

I have had two of the plastic connector break within weeks of purchase. The connectors facilitate connection of the light to the ground stake. I looked on line for replacement parts but have not found them yet. Seems like Malibu does not recognize the model number.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by gary design is good, quality is not good
this are poor quality lighting, in the beginning they look good but they don't last long. I bought about one year ago. it takes few month to find out the real quality. I do not recommend this to anyone.
