Do the Malibu Celestial LED Solar path lights come in black?

Trying to replace a solar landscape light for a customer. Please see attached pic and let me know if you carry these. Thanks!

Well, my box said a bought hammered bronze. But I actually received plain black. I kept the set, they are black.

where can I get replacment stakes at

Asked by: Anthony
I recommend making your own stakes. Select either plumbing PVC, or metal electrical conduit. I am going to try 3/4" PVC. Insert the original stake into the pvc. You can drive the PVC into the ground with a 3LB hammer. The stakes can stand to any desired height.

How do I replace a light?

Two of my path lights no longer illuminate. Do I have to replace the entire light or can I just replace a bulb? Thank you.
Asked by: LizzieBR
For non-electronics tinker, I would replace it with other compatible product. It is not easy, but I would look into to replace the LED only.

Customer Reviews

Celestial LED Solar Pathway Lights (6-Pack) is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from CHANGE THE BATTERIES = Awesome lights! These lights are, as packaged, limited by the batteries they come with: a typical chinese NiCad battery that will only last a couple months. The good news is they are a standard AA battery: I went online and spent a few bucks extra on HIGH QUALITY NiMH batteries, and the lights now stay on from dusk to dawn! Many will pooh-pooh the extra cost of the NiMH batteries, but having solar lights that burn all night is much more convenient than running all the wiring for a low-voltage lighting setup.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a nice looking light. Durable, bright white lights, easy instalation, looks beautiful when lights are working. I bought these lights to light up sidewalk. Trouble is,the lights are gone by 10:00. The info on box says 10 hours of light. It is winter time now and I understand they need lots of sunlight, but, I bought another set of lights at the same time I got these( a different brand) which are getting the same amount of sun time and those lights work all through the night..Even on cloudy days, the other brand light up and stay lit...I really believe that there is a sensor problem on these lights. I spaced them apart as suggested..Only a few lasted about 3 hours. The lights went out at different times..I really like these lights but are thinking about taking them back and getting the set that works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased with this item These lights are not the cheesy bluish LED lights that you typically see on solar landscaping lights. They are a bright light that could be easily mistaken for low-voltage lighting. Since I was not using them to mark a path, but enhance some rock formations we had installed in our yard, I was able to adjust the height simply by hammering the metal shaft further into the ground. I will be buying more for our backyard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money... Got these from Home Depot...easy to assemble...seemed like solid construction...problem is... They don't work...! Installed all six and came home from work only to see that only 3 were working. Seems that the slightest bit of light from an outside source...streetlight, porch light etc. confuses these things to where they think it's still daylight and they turn themselves off...!! :-) Every night it's a diiferent scenario...kind of interesting to see which ones aren't working tonight... :-) Their problems continue in that the ones that actually do come on lose their charge about halfway through the evening. Complete junk...! I'm taking these back to Home Depot with a vengance...! :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So...So! Worked well in the summer. These don't work very good in the cold weather, with the winter sun providing limited charge time. Kind of disappointing. The plastic portion of the anchors breaks easily. I will install pvc pipes and insert these lites into the pvc. Also will try a can filled with gravel as an anchor. My garden hose knocked a couple of these over, breaking the plastic anchor point on the stakes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pricy but good so far We just installed these this week. They were very easy to assemble and "install". Remember to place them far enough apart so they don't conflict the other light's sensors. They are just bright enough and are not flimsy. Packaging states the bulbs do not need replacing since they are led's. KEEP A STOCK OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES ON HAND! Only con is the lights are not all the same brightness but probably only the owner will notice. We liked the one set so much that we bought two more this week. Very happy with our purchase so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap, low quality I bought the 6 pack kit of these lights in the early summer, plus two more spare to finish out the path scheme. I recently had to go into Home Depot to pick up a spare light to replace on that failed. Last night I noticed that I had a second one fail. I took that failed light out of the string and powered them directly at the end of the low voltage cable to ensure that they were getting the proper voltage and connectivity, but no luck. It looks like the internal board has failed on both units. Additionally I have now had two of these lights get broken off at the PLASTIC stake at the neck point to the light itself. These are not robust enough to be a pathway light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not meant for outdoor use. I bought about 18 of these lights. They looked good and assembled easily. After about 4 months maybe 5/18 still work. That is a pretty short lifespan. Many don't operate at all, and some that do flicker on and off as soon as the sun goes down. The photocells surface is cheap plastic and most look like they are starting to fade. This is a bit unusual for something that needs to be in direct sunlight.
