Have used these for 2 years now to light both of our Brookview North subdivision entrance signs, one light per sign. (I had figured I'd be happy if they lasted only a year!) Gives a nice broad light on sign from probably only 6 feet or so away. Our solar panels are poorly exposed to sunglight due to surronding vegatation, but even in the winter we will get a couple hours of light typically. Have had no electrical or water problems, the only bad thing that has happened is that this year one of the solar panels must have gotten hit hard and broke the plastic just below the pivot point; no problem, I epoxy-glued it back together and I'm up and running again. I've attached two pictures so you can see one of the lights in action.

This light worked great the first night ... next night a little less brighter I noticed, next night was a little less brighter ... thinking it was not charging well I was going to be patient. Then finally I went to look at it .... this light is not moisture proof. The moisture creeps in with no way to get it out without bringing it inside and letting it dry out for a few days.. really? I see a few others posted the same thing .. I have never written a product review but felt compelled to warn you all.... In a constantly warmer environment, this might work great, but not in New Jersey in the fall. Look for other options. Malibu must know this so very well... any comments Malibu?

I have had these lights, as I bought in a pair to shine up to trees in our yard for a few years. The rub is that I've had to take these lights back to refund and buy again I don't know how many times, I'd say 3 times each for the pair. They emit great light when they work and look good doing it. Now I find out that Malibu is going out of business so I guess I'm going to have to find another light to work for highlighting our trees. Great concept that seems to only work on the drawing-board. These lights seem to seep water and once water gets in, forget about it.

This is a great value as it is so bright and I thought I would have to spend more to get a light this bright. It lasts through the night and is still dimly lit in the morning. It was super easy to install and looks great. We have it shining on our address post so people can see it at night and it makes our address very visible from the street. I love that you can adjust the angle that the light shines and the solar panel can either be attached to the light or away from the light to hide it from view.

Overall, I find these Malibu LED Solar Wall Wash lights to be an excellent product that I would recommend without reservation.
After looking around at various landscape lighting options, I purchased 3 of these solar wall wash lights and I sure am glad I did. They do a beautiful job illuminating a few trellises in my backyard with a warm white light (3000k) rather than the bluish white light (5000k) provided by so many other solar lights. While they aren't as bright as non-solar wall wash lights, they are far brighter than most other solar lights currently available and are perfect for the job at hand. My amateur cell phone photos of these lights in action really cannot capture the elegance they bring to my backyard.
The heft and quality of the lights themselves is impressive, but the stems they stand upon are lightweight aluminium and a bit longer than I believe is necessary for my purpose, which makes the lights a little top heavy. I considered cutting the stems down a bit, but was too eager to get them installed and revel in the beauty they add to my landscaping. I also have concerns about the longevity of the plastic stakes that anchor the light and solar panel into the ground and plastic connectors that attach the light and solar panel to their stems. Time will tell how everything holds up to the elements.
I was so impressed with these lights, I purchased a Malibu LED Solar Spotlight to uplight a tree and found myself equally impressed by its performance.

The wall wash solar LED light shows quite a bit of light and the battery lasts all night and it is made of metal, not plastic. After installing the light to up-light a palm tree, I notice quite a bit of moisture inside the lens so the unit is NOT waterproof it seems. Interior moisture seems to be the problem with all the different solar lights of this style (up-lighting) and I am finding that the internal electronics deteriorate quite fast. I would like manufacturer to comment if this moisture is an inherent problem or I just have a defective unit as this is a pricey light which I hoped would last a lot longer than the cheap plastic lights it is replacing. Would have been 5 stars except for the interior moisture problem.

These are expensive lights, but I have one going on two years that runs all night. As powerful as one with a cord. Good stuff. I wish the mounting bars were longer and all metal, but other than that ...very good.
