Answer:
Yes. Run the power cable from your transformer to the approximate location for each light leaving a little slack for adjusting the location. The lights simply plug into the cable using Malibu's quick connectors. Be sure you don't use more wattage (each of these is 20 watts out of the box) than your transformer is rated for.

Answer:
Yes you can hook these light up in parallel and not series. You my ask home many can you hook up and that will all depend on the voltage drop at the end of the line. You can hook up as many as you want until the voltage going to the last light should not be less than 10.75 volts. You can use a volt meter to check it. With larger gauge wires you can add maybe a extra light and longer distance.

For example I had 8 of these light hooked up over 75feet of 12 guage wire and by the time I got to the last flood light the voltage dropped down to 9.6v. So 8 flood light was too much to handle for my 300 watt power supply.
A quick solution for my problem was to use upgrade the bulbs to LED so it use less power. Read Less

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install flood lights. I have gradually replaced all my more expensive comparable flood lights with these fixtures. Bulbs are less expensive and is protected with waterproof seals. They have a pretty appearance too. Quite satisfied for the cost. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for lighting up trees and waterfalls! we have a few of these in our backyard to light up our trees, queen palms, and waterfall. they look great, easy to install, and shine bright. We have only had to replace one of these in the 6 years we have been in our current house. The hot AZ weather and monsoons ate away at the wires of one of them but it was easy to replace. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great garden lite Love the how bright the lite is and gives a nice glow. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Light Fixture I bought these light with the intentions of swapping out the 20w incandescent bulbs with more efficient 4w LED. Not only does the LED (bulb type: MR16 Color Temp: Warm White (3200K) Spotlight 12V 4W (330 Lumen - 50 Watt Equivalent) 60 Degree Beam angle) Bulb puts out more light but it also uses 5 times less watts. So now I can run a longer line with more lights and still have power for more lights. Over all the construction of the lights is pretty solid. It is a step up from some other generic spot lights that I bought online. The problem I was having is running too many of these light on the same line over a long distance. By the time I get to the last light, the voltage drops down to 9v. The power supply I am using is rated for 300watt and it was not able to handle 8 of these lights. Now with the LED bulbs I can run 10 of these lights plug 6 more deck light with out any problems. If I was using incandescent bulbs for all 16 light fixtures the total wattage would be 260watts and that is over 100 feet of 12 gauge wire. By swapping over to LED bulbs I will be using only 52 watts. June 27, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Garden Low Voltage Light Very well made; excellent illumination. Installation requires pressing two connectors to the power wiring - to make a solid connection had to use channel locks to squeeze the plastic & metal connectors into/through the power cord - should be an easier connection design.... December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mailbu Light I use these for several areas of outside lighting. Just change the bulb to an LED, cut off the push and click electrical connectors, which I found to be unreliable, and use DryConn waterproof wire nuts. No problems for several years now. Low voltage, very low wattage and they don't get blistering hot. Now that THD lowered the price I bought a couple of back up units. December 8, 2015
