Answer:
No, one transformer will work if all the lights are connected through it. It will change your 110V outlet into a 12V power supply that you will run the lights off of from there.

You can run multiple lights on 1 transformer as long as the wattage exceeds the total amount of the lights.

MY DECK HAS THE VINYL OR PVC 4X4 POST COVERS OR SLEEVES ON THEM AND THEY ARE KIND OF MADE TO FIT INSIDE OF THOSE THEN JUST DRILLED A COUPLE HOL;ES IN THAT TO LINE UP WITH THE HOLES IN THE LIGHT. IF YOU'RE DEFINETLY GOING TO KEEP THEM AND USE THEM DO YOURSELF A GIANT FAVOR AND COAT THEM WITH 3 OR 4 COATS OF CLEAR LACQUER AND MAKE SURE U WIPE THEM GOOD WITH EITHER ACETONE OR ALCOHOL TO MAKE SURE THERES NO OIL OR ANYOTHER KIND OF CONTAMINENTS ON THEM FIRST. THE MORNING DEW OR THE RAIN WILL CAUSE THEM TO TARNISH BADLY IF YOU DONT LACQUER THEM BEFORE LEAVING THEM OUT IN THE ELEMENTS. IF YOU HAVE 4X4 WOODEN POSTS WITHOUT THE PVC SLEEVES YOU CAN PROBABLY FASION A SMALL WOODEN EXTENSION ON THE TOP OF YOUR POSTS UNLESS THE POSTS FIT INSIDE OF THE LIGHT BASE. CUT A THIN SLAP OF 2X4 OR SOMETNING ABOUT A HALF INCH THICK AND SCREW THAT TO THE TOP OF THE POSTS FIRST. MAKE IT SIZED TO FIT INSIDE OF THE LIGHT BASE THEN YOU CAN USE THE HOLES IN THE LIGHT TO SCREW THEM TO. YOU DONT REALLY NEED TO USE ALL FOUR OF THE HOLES THAT ARE IN THE LIGHT. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THEY ARENT THE BRIGHTEST LIGHTS BUT I HAVE 5 OF THEM ALONG WITH OTHER ACCENT LIGHTING WHICH MAKES IT BRIGHT ENOUGH FOR WHAT I WANT. BUT DONT THINK UR GOING TO BE ABLE TO USE THEM TO REALLY LIGHT UP THE AREA. BUT THEY ARE NICE THOUGH. GOOD LUCK Read Less

Your product description refers to providing a 12 volt transformer output for providing power to the LED fixtures. Transformer power output is alternating current. LED lighting requires low voltage DC power provided by devices called LED low voltage drivers. As I understand it, LED's will burn out is short order on AC power. Specifically, what outdoor rated power supply do you provide or recommend for the above? I am using only four such fixtures on my entryway landing railing.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by clear-coat or patina - which do you want? I purchased these lights at three different times for a major project. Malibu has apparently made a change in this product. Some have raw copper that will patina over time. The others have a clear-coat over the copper, so maintain the bright copper look. We'll see how long the clear-coat lasts… Just check what you're getting to be sure they're all the same. September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by accented new deck perfectly very easy installation needed something to add to the led step lites and this was a perfect addition only thing was i had to apply a few coats of clear lacquer to stop moisture from oxidizing the copper once i did that it stayed pretty September 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by copper and cast iron post cap We liked that it was copper and cast iron. Great price. Exactly what we were looking for to add a nice touch to our home. October 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fixtures Love the copper tops. They would be great on 4 x 4 post but looked too small on our 6 x 6 posts even though they came with an adapter to fit. We returned them. September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very attractive and gives a warm light at night I installed 9 of these post lights around the parameter of my deck and it looks wonderful at night. Not too bright but enough light to give a warm glow. Only problem is the screws that attach the copper cap to the base have developed rust stains. They should be copper or galvanized. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOW VOLTAGE LED REAL COOPER AND CAST IRON POST CAP EASY TO INSTALL, LOOKS GOOD. NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT TO USE TO CLEAN THE COOPER. I WOULD RECOMMEND TREATING THE TOP BEFORE TOO LONG AFTER INSTALLATION. WE DIDN'T NOW WERE TRYING TO FIND HOW TO CLEAN THE COPPER. OTHERWISE THEY ARE GREAT. July 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice quality lights We already have eight of these lights. But some were damaged by the snowplow. I am more than willing to replace with the same thing. They are very attractive. I coated them with a copper sealer before installing them. They have held up well except the physical abuse. They are each mounted on top of 4x4 posts along my retaining wall. April 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we were looking for. This light is not too bright but is perfect for for marking the boundary of our deck which is what we wanted. The fixture fit the 4x4 post very good with 4 attaching screws. The screws were a little too tight going through the base of the fixture so I drilled them out very easily to a slightly larger hole making the screws easier to insert. One of my posts was spit at the top and the base did not fit due to the condition of the post. I used a rasp and took just a little off at the top of the post. There is another base adapter to fit the 4x6 post which is not used for the 4x4 post. The bulb is already installed and is not replacable (nonservicable) We are considering purchasing another because they are not too bulky or bright. At this time we have had the lights about a month.
