Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JOEM GREAT FOR DECK USE AT NITE
I purchased these to finish the lighting of my new deck for use at night. As you can see from the picture, they really add just enough light. they work great on the privacy fence and install very easily. Not really made for Posts[hence fence light] altho they do work on them. They come with a template for ease of marking installation holes. also have a foam washer so they can hold snug with out having to be perfect with the mntg screw protrusion. They clip on easily to LOWVOLTAGE wire such as 16-2 and are very weather resistant. Bulbs are not replaceable but LED offer very long life. highly recommended

Malibu Lighting Corp, the manufacturer of these lights, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October/November of 2015. I purchased my two lights in Dec 2013 for approx $20. each. It is now Nov 2015 and they are no longer working. Checked the original warranty and it is only one(1) year. Pretty bad for an LED product. Still have my Home Depot receipt for the lights but after 90 days HD sends you to the manufacturer.
I have already replaced them with the Portfolio brand that Lowe's carries. These have a 5 year warranty!

I bought 10 for the ramp to the front door. They went on well enough - had to scrape some rubber off the main wire to get a good connection - and they looked good - put off just the right amount of light. BUT 6 months later, I have replaced 7 of them. It seems the LED panel is failing as new replacement lights connect perfectly. I threw away my receipt as I thought LED would last forever. No email access to Malibu and am on hold too long to contact a human. Right Now - They are not a good deal.

I was looking to add some low voltage lights to my new fence. I tried several battery operated ones and solar. They just did not give off enough light. I found these and wired them up to my landscape lights. They pull 1watt ea, they are cool to the touch as they are led. Have a nice yellow cast of light. Breeze to install. Would highly recommend!

Exceptionally Easy to install.
Last a long time.
Highly recommended. I installed them on a brick wall towards the center of my back yard, and liked the way they look so much, I went and bought an additional double amount to install on the opposite side of the brick wall. Haven't always been a fan of Malibu products, but this one is great.

I love this light, looks nice, good light level and energy efficient.
For those of you having mounting trouble, get a 1" by 1/2" stick and use it as a template. Mark the drill locations, use the provided screws and screw them all the way through the stick. Check to see the light will mount on the stick. If your alignment is good, back the screw out till the tips of the screws are not exposed. Hold the stick to the surface you are going to mount the light and run the screws through the stick again and into the mounting surface. Unscrew the screws, set the stick aside and screw the screws with the washers into the holes in the mounting surface. The alignment should be perfect.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jeff will not fit properly on 4x4 fence posts
1. It doesn't fit well on 4x4 fence posts (actually 3 1/2 x 3 1/2).
2 they include foam pads with no explanation figured it was to help seal the holes in the back.
3.the guide helps to install the the screws but it is a pain to adjust the proper depth of of the screw.
I had high hopes for these as I have round love voltage surface lights which were very easy to install on fence posts. Just drive in 2 screws to hold them. The reason I was trying these is because it is a pain to change the bulbs and these would let me put more lights on each line
