Answer:
The tire doesn't contain air. I am not sure how you could make it go flat under normal use. You would have to do something like cut off part of the tire with a saw.

If they are the same size and the lawn mower doesn't exceed the weight limit of the tires, I would use them. Steering might be impeded if you need a rugged tread design.

10-1/2 in. x 3-1/3 in. Flat-Free Tire for Hand Trucks is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tire! I was dumb enough to buy a hand truck with inflatable tires... big mistake out where I live. One of the tires soon went flat and I finally broke down and purchased this flat-free tire and I couldn't be happier with this decision. It was very easy to install, and it came with hardware to ensure a good fit for different axles, etc., though I didn't need any of it. The performance since the install has been excellent and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend it! Even though the other tire is still inflated, I'm going to buy a second flat-free tire to replace it very soon!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fixed the problem for keeps I bought these to replace some pneumatic tires that would not hold air. The installation was easy and quick. I didn't need the axle size adapters and bearings, but it's important to note that they are there, so these will cover a large variety of uses. They were about 1/2" taller than the wheels they replaced so the back of the hand truck's tongue is slightly elevated, but that's on me. Still, these made an otherwise difficult to use hand truck a breeze.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've been wanting these for a long time I've been fighting leaky hand truck tires for a long time, but there never seemed to be a flat-free version for hand trucks. These are just what I was looking for, and they mounted easily. I haven't used them long enough to see how durable they are, so I can't give it 5 stars, but they appear to be well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marathon tire Size, price, and appearance is great! Installation was easier than expected because the kit contained several options to fit many combinations of axle sizes and spacings.
