Works great. Light. Made in USA.
My rusted first time i used it. Rust got into my mud and stained my ceiling.
I read online that you need to force a patina on it to protect it from rust because it is made out of carbon steel. Soak in vinegar for 24 hours to force the patina.

Got it for ceiling plastering project. Now half of the ceiling is covered with the first coat and I got a coffee break to wright a feedback. I've noticed a signs of rust approx in an hour if use. Now almost whole blade is covered with rust spots. Lives orange marks on the ceiling.
Was expecting better product for 34$

I bought this trowel specifically for finishing some concrete work - the product was even located in the concrete aisle. During the job it performed well but what I noticed after cleanup and wash-down was that the trowel had rust spots. I can't believe that this +$60 trowel was beginning to rust after 1 use!
I've bought Marshalltown taping knives and had no problem with them and drywall and water, but something supposedly stronger and to be used on concrete didn't last after one use. This product really fell short of my expectations. I'll be returning it to the store for refund.

We purchased this trowel with the understanding that we were going to do our drywalling ourselves. After one wall we decided to call in a professional. The professional told us that he did not like finishing another workmans work but it was so well done that he would continue on. He then asked for the company of the person who had done the job and we had to tell him it was us. Surprized, he asked us what tool we were using, we showed him the tool and he asked to buy it on the spot and also asked where he could more. We said, "Home Depot, of course".
