We have a large bay window. It has two windows and one French door that opens to the outside. We wanted the curtains to run across the entire length instead of having three separate curtain rods. The Corner Connector matches the wood curtain rod, and connects to the rod with a screw to hold it in place. Professional look without the professional interior decorator price. Note: Measure, measure, measure before you cut the wood curtain rods because you have to take the length of the Corner Connector into consideration for the overall bay window length.

We have a bay window with 3" of plaster on reach side. We're couldn't fit this and the mounting brackets on either side. So, if we were mountig the brackets so they sat on top of the window, no big deal, but we wanted to put them to the side so we'd have enough space to pull the curtains away from the trim.
Second annoyance, the color was off from the other pieces of the system. Now, I know why it cheap compared to other bars.
In the end, if you have lots of wall space or plan to mount above your window, go ahead, if you plan to side mount and have less than 3" per side, skip because you'll save a headache.
One other thing, you can't tighten the screw holding the ball part together, so that seemed very flimsy

This product is great but the plastic coating of paint is a little hard to sand through if you need to change the color. Otherwise it is an excellent product.

In hanging our curtain rods, we dropped this product and big chunk of the wood fell off! It wasn't a hard fall either - just a bobble and a whoops. Just handling the product, you can tell it's very cheaply made. But, it serves it's purpose. It joined the two rods in the corner. I actually put a panel at the corner, so half is on each wall. This covers up the cheap quite well. I would still recommend it, given there are no other options and the rest of the product worked so well. Overall, I'm happy with the way my curtain rods look.
